As recently, the Papuan KKB killed a motorcycle taxi driver. 
Related to this, the apparatus also shot dead 3 members of the Papuan KKB.

Joint TNI-Polri officers are hunting for the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) after the shooting of a motorcycle taxi driver in Ilaga, Puncak Regency, Central Papua on Wednesday (22/3/2023). 
Three members of the KKB are reported to have died in the hunt. 


Commander of Korem 173/Praja Vira Braja, Brigadier General Sri Widodo, said the joint team was observing using a drone while the KKB killed Irwan. 
"We made observations and found out that the movement of the KKB was seen carrying two rifles," he said in writing, received by Tribun-Papua.com, Thursday (23/3/2023). 

After the shooting, the joint TNI-Polri officers chased them to the bridge near PT Unggul. 

"After confirming the existence of the KKB, the joint team tried to chase those who were trying to escape," he said. 

According to him, during the chase, TNI-Polri personnel then opened fire and it was confirmed that three KKB members had been killed. 
"Three of our KKB members managed to paralyze them. The three of them who were seen from the drone were carrying rifles," he said. 
Sri Widodo explained, two corpses from three KKB members were taken away by his colleagues, while one body was evacuated by TNI-Polri personnel to the Puncak Police Headquarters. 
"Only one body that we managed to secure, his name was Enius Tabuni (22), while two of KKB's bodies were brought by his colleagues," he explained. 

The body of Enius Tabuni was then handed over to his family and a tradition of burning was carried out. 
Previously reported, the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) returned to action by shooting a motorcycle taxi driver named Irwan at the Kimak road junction, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, Wednesday (22/3/2023) around 09.20 WIT. 

Meanwhile, reported by GridHot from the Twitter account Veronica Koman  @VeronicaKoman uploaded photos and videos of members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces together with a body covered in blood, suspected of being a member of the Papuan KKB. 
The public lawyer who often handles Papuan issues in his uploads inserts a warning regarding content related to corpses, blood and colonization. 


Veronica Koman, in her upload, stated that a TNI member recorded himself after allegedly killing someone who was said to be a member of the Papuan KKB. 
He also mentioned that the location of the video shooting was located in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua. 

Indonesian soldiers filmed themselves showing the disrespectful Triumphalis gesture after apparently killing a child they recorded saying was OPM (Free Papua Organization). 
The location is said to be in Sinak, Puncak Regency," wrote Veronica Koman on Thursday (23/3/2023) in English which has been translated. 

Meanwhile, in the 32-second video uploaded by Veronica Koman, it can be seen that a number of members of the TNI are beside the corpse of a suspected member of the Papuan KKB. 
The body of the corpse seemed to be covered in blood. 


One TNI who was also recorded as saying "OPM is dead", while another mentions the word "honor". 
"Until Kostrad dies," said the video recorder.
