Some users in India report that this feature is available on their devices, although not yet across all devices. This indicates that this update relies on server-side settings, not just on the latest version of Play Store installed on the device. 

Nevertheless, this feature is very welcomed by Android users. They feel more efficient and productive because they no longer have to wait long to install or update applications. With this change, Google seems to be listening to user complaints and providing a long-awaited solution.
