He caused a stir because he managed to disrupt the blogging site, Wordpress, several years ago.
2. Kang Onno
Kang Ono or Onno W Purbo is an information technology expert from Bandung. He graduated from Electrical Engineering at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1981. Graduating with the best distinction, Kang Ono continued his studies in Canada via a scholarship.
3. Xnuxer
Hacker Xnuxer caused a stir in 2004, he succeeded in breaking into the KPU site, kpu.go.id by means of XSS or cross site scripting and SQL Injection. After successfully entering the server, he opened the names of the 24 political parties participating in the election and replaced their names with the names of fruit. This action was responded quickly by the police cyber unit. Xnuxer's real name is Dani Firmansyah.

Melansir CNBC Indonesia, enam hacker Indonesia berikut ini pernah melakukan aksi hacking yang mencengangkan dan membuat orang takut. Siapa saja mereka?
1. HMEI7
Kalau kamu berada di komunitas hacker, HMEI7 mungkin sudah tidak asing di telinga. HMEI7 dijuluki sebagai master of defacer dunia dan menurut data di laman zone-h.org, sebanyak 294.402 web pernah ia lumpuhkan, di antaranya 139.721 IP tunggal dan 154.681 deface massal. Ia sempat membuat heboh karena berhasil mengacak-acak situs blogging, Wordpress, beberapa tahun lalu.
2. Kang Onno
Kang Ono atau Onno W Purbo merupakan pakar teknologi informasi asal Bandung. Ia adalah lulusan dari Teknik Elektro Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) pada 1981. Lulus dengan predikat terbaik, Kang Ono melanjutkan studinya ke Kanada lewat jalur beasiswa.
3. Xnuxer
Hacker Xnuxer sempat bikin heboh di 2004, dirinya berhasil membobol situs KPU, kpu.go.id dengan cara XSS atau cross site scripting dan SQL Injection. Usai berhasil masuk ke dalam server, ia membuka nama 24 partai politik peserta pemilu dan mengganti namanya dengan nama buah. Aksinya ini direspons cepat oleh satuan siber kepolisian. Xnuxer memiliki nama asli Dani Firmansyah.
4. Xsvshacker
Peretas andal lainnya adalah Xsvshacker yang terkenal dengan beberapa aksinya dalam membuat pemilik situs kewalahan. Salah satu korban retasnya adalah database NYPD pada 2011. Xsvshacker melakukan defacing lebih dari 430.000 situs di seluruh dunia. ia juga meretas game Zynga hingga membobol situs kepresidenan Israel.
5. Jim Geovedi
Salah satu aksi hebat Jim Geovedi yang hingga kini diperbincangkan banyak orang adalah ketika ia mempraktikkan untuk menggeser arah orbit satelit di luar angkasa pada 2009. Sebagai informasi, Jim merupakan pakar sekaligus pemerhati teknologi informatika dari Indonesia yang menetap di luar negeri.
6. Bio666x
Bio666x pernah membuat heboh Malaysia pada 2019 lalu. Kala itu pria dengan nama Yogi Nugraha yang berusia 19 tahun sempat mematikan jaringan internet negeri jiran. Singapura juga pernah jadi korban Bio666x. Banyak data penting milik militer Singapura yang dia dapat setelah meretas dan masuk ke dalam server.
