Korean Media Highlights the Splendor of Indonesia's Red Sparks Duel Arena Venue

-- Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, which will be the venue for the friendly match Red Sparks vs Indonesia All Star is in the spotlight of the South Korean media.
The well-known South Korean club Red Sparks received an invitation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports through the Sports Fund and Business Management Institute (LPDUK) to visit Indonesia.
This invitation was due to the splendid performance of Indonesian Women's National Volleyball Team opposite hitter Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi with Red Sparks in the Korean Volleyball League.
Red Sparks is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on April 17 2024. The team coached by Ko Hee Jin is in Indonesia for five days and four nights until April 21.
The highlight of Red Sparks' arrival to Indonesia was a test of strength with Indonesia All Star, which was occupied by the Indonesian Women's National Volleyball Team players at the Indonesia Arena.
As one of the new sports venues in Indonesia, Indonesia Arena is in the spotlight of Korean media, MKSports. In the report, it was stated that Indonesia Arena has a large capacity of up to 16 thousand spectators.
"During this invitation period, special events prepared by the Indonesian side, such as press conferences, official dinners and fan meetings will be held, and the main event, a friendly match, will be held on 20 [April] at the Indonesia Arena, the stadium capacity of 16 thousandnewly built seats located in Jakarta," wrote MKSports.
Since it was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo in August 2023, the Indonesia Arena has hosted the 2023 FIBA World Cup. The Indonesia Arena was also proposed as a venue for an international volleyball tournament.
Seeing the number of spectator seats reaching 16 thousand seats, the capacity of the Indonesia Arena is two to three times that of the gymnasium in the Korean Volleyball League.
Call it the Red Sparks headquarters, Chungmu Gymnasium has a capacity of 5 thousand seats. Meanwhile, Hillstate's home ground is currently at the top of the standings, Suwon Gymnasium. 4,317 viewers.
AI Peppers' home, Yeomju Gymnasium, and Pink Spiders' home, Samsan World Gymnasium, have larger capacities: 8,500 and 7,140 seats.
It is hoped that the large capacity of the Indonesia Arena will be able to attract the interest of Indonesian volleyball fans to watch Red Sparks vs Indonesia All Star.
"It's open to the public. I've also agreed to give instructions, the enthusiasm of the volleyball community is high, and finally volleyball can be played at the Indonesia Arena. So I ask that tickets remain available, but they must not be expensive," said Dito.
