1. Elon Musk

Based on the Forbes Real Time Billionaires report, Musk is currently estimated to have wealth of US 222.3 billion or IDR 3,490.11 trillion. Even so, in the CNN report, Elon Musk only received a salary equal to the California UMR, namely US$ 23,760 or Rp. 373.03 million per year. If calculated per month, the salary is approximately IDR 31.08 million.
In fact, Elon Musk doesn't want to receive a salary at all from the company he built. Instead of a salary, he prefers to be 'paid' with company shares.
However, due to regulations that require every worker to be paid at least the UMR, Elon Musk finally set his salary at IDR 31 million just as a formality and the rest came from share ownership.
2. Bernard Arnault
The position of the second richest person in the world is filled by Bernard Arnault who is the CEO and chairman of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH). The well-known brands included in its portfolio are Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Moet & Chandon, Sephora, and Tiffany & Co, which was acquired in 2021.
Still based on Forbes, conglomerate Bernard Arnault is currently estimated to have wealth of US$ 183.7 billion or Rp. 2,884.09 trillion. However, unlike Elon Musk, at the company he gets a very large salary like the CEO of a well-known brand.
In a report by The Street, as CEO of LVMH, Bernard Arnault received an annual salary of US$ 9.7 million or Rp. 152.29 billion (Rp. 12.69 billion per month). The amount of this salary is received in the form of basic salary, bonuses and other incentives.

3. Jeff Bezos
In the next position is Jeff Bezos as the founder of Amazon. However, in July 2021, he relinquished his role as CEO of the company and only retained his position as chairman.
Outside of that, Bezos owns a space company called The Washington Post and Blue Origin. He then began his journey into space on a rocket developed by Blue Origin in July 2021.
Forbes noted that he currently has assets worth US$ 179.1 billion or the equivalent of Rp. 2,811.87 trillion. Of course, most of his wealth comes from owning Amazon shares, as well as the salary he receives from the company.
In the CNN report, Bezos earns a base salary of US$ 88,840 or 1.39 billion, with additional compensation totaling more than US$ 1.6 million or 25.12 billion annually. If calculated per month, the salary he receives is more than IDR 2.09 billion.
4. Larry Ellison
Larry Ellison owns 35% of software giant Oracle. He co-founded Oracle in 1997 and served as CEO there. Unfortunately, he left this position in 2014.
Thanks to his large share ownership in Oracle, he is recorded as having assets worth US$ 143 billion or the equivalent of Rp. 2,245.1 trillion. However, because he no longer works at the company, of course he doesn't get a salary.
Apart from that, Larry Ellison still receives a certain amount of money from shareholder compensation every year. In the CRN Magazine report, he received around US$ 7.3 million or Rp. 114.61 billion for the 2023 fiscal year.
5. Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Zuckerberg is in the 5th position on the list of the richest people in the world. He is one of the founders and CEO of Meta Platforms. He is called an American billionaire business magnate, computer programming, and philanthropic internet entrepreneur.
Zuckerberg started the social platform Facebook in 2004 when he was 19 years old. He was even ranked the 10th most influential person in the world according to Forbes in December 2016.
Based on the Forbes Real Time Billionaires report, currently the founder of Facebook has wealth of US$ 137.9 billion or Rp. 2,165.03 trillion. Just like Larry, Zuckerberg only relies on stock compensation to survive.
But make no mistake, based on a report by The Guardian, he can get compensation of hundreds of billions to trillions of rupiah every year. However, apart from that, he also received funding facilities of US$ 14 million or Rp. 219.8 billion from the company for personal security.

5. Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Zuckerberg menjadi daftar orang terkaya di dunia posisi ke-5. Ia merupakan salah satu pendiri sekaligus CEO Meta Platforms. Ia disebut sebagai raja bisnis miliarder Amerika, pemrograman komputer, dan pengusaha internet yang dermawan.
Zuckerberg memulai platform sosial Facebook pada tahun 2004 ketika usianya masih 19 tahun. Ia bahkan pernah menduduki peringkat ke-10 orang paling berpengaruh di dunia versi Forbes pada Desember 2016.

Zuckerberg diperbolehkan menggunakan uang tersebut untuk membayar personel, peralatan, layanan, perbaikan tempat tinggal dan kebutuhan terkait keselamatan pribadi lainnya. Karenanya ia disebut-sebut sebagai miliarder yang menggelontorkan uang paling banyak untuk 'bodyguard'.
