Kominfo, Eradicates Indoctrination, Radicalism Content, Mostly on Twitter,
Jakarta - The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) has cut off access to 174 accounts and internet content that are indicated to contain indoctrination and radicalism. Kominfo took down hundreds of accounts from July to August 2023.
"From the beginning of July 2023 until today, Kominfo found a total of 174 accounts and content for indoctrination and the spread of radicalism. In accordance with Mr. President Jokowi's directives to create a peaceful 2024 Election, the Ministry of Communication and Information will immediately take down access to this content," said Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi in a press release, Friday (1/9).
"The results of joint monitoring by the TNI and BNPT show a significant increase in the spread of radicalism content. Some are affiliated with Jemaah Ansharud Daulah (JAD) and Jemaah Islamiah (JI)," he explained.
Based on a report from the Directorate of Informatics Application Control, Directorate General of Informatics Applications of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, the 174 accounts and content discovered during the month were spread across various digital platforms. Most on the Twitter platform or what is now called X, namely 116 content, then 46 content on Facebook, 11 on Instagram and 1 on YouTube.
The Minister of Communication and Information said that this termination of access was carried out in accordance with Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Republic of Indonesia Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions.
"The Ministry of Communication and Informatics continues to search content on websites or platforms using the AIS engine every two hours. Apart from that, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics is also working with the TNI and BNPT to trace accounts that spread content of terrorism, radicalism and separatism," he said.
"If you recognize the existence of a site like that, you can report it to aduankonten.id or the X account @aduankonten," concluded Budi.
Kominfo Berantas Konten Indoktrinasi & Radikalisme, Terbanyak
Jakarta- Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) telah memutuskan akses terhadap 174 akun dan konten internet yang terindikasi mengandung indoktrinasi dan radikalisme. Take down terhadap ratusan akun itu dilakukan Kominfo selama bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2023.
"Sejak awal bulan Juli 2023 sampai hari ini, Kominfo menemukan total 174 akun dan konten indoktrinasi dan penyebaran paham radikalisme. Sesuai arahan Bapak Presiden Jokowi untuk menciptakan Pemilu 2024 Damai, Kominfo segera melakukan take down akses konten tersebut," ujar Menkominfo Budi Arie Setiadi dalam siaran persnya, Jumat (1/9).
"Hasil pantauan bersama TNI dan BNPT menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan penyebaran konten radikalisme. Ada yang terafiliasi Jemaah Ansharud Daulah (JAD) dan Jamaah Islamiah (JI)," jelasnya.
Berdasarkan laporan Direktorat Pengendalian Aplikasi Informatika, Ditjen Aplikasi Informatika Kementerian Kominfo, 174 akun dan konten yang ditemukan selama sebulan itu tersebar di berbagai platform digital. Terbanyak di platform Twitter atau yang kini disebut X, yaitu 116 konten, kemudian 46 konten Facebook, 11 konten Instagram dan 1 konten YouTube.
Menkominfo menyebutkan pemutusan akses ini dilaksanakan sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor19 Tahun 2016 tentang Perubahan atas UU RI No 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik.
"Kementerian Kominfo terus melakukan pencarian konten dalam situs web atau platform dengan menggunakan mesin AIS setiap dua jam sekali. Selain itu, Kementerian Kominfo juga bekerja sama dengan TNI dan BNPT untuk menelusuri akun-akun yang menyebarkan konten terorisme, radikalisme dan separatisme," tuturnya.
Menkominfo meminta masyarakat untuk menghindari penyebaran konten yang radikalisme, terorisme dan separatisme.
"Jika menemukenali keberadaan situs seperti itu dapat melaporkannya ke aduankonten.id atau akun X @aduankonten," pungkas Budi.
