Gangkhar Puensum merupakan salah satu pegunungan tertinggi di dunia. Gangkhar Puensum memiliki tinggi mencapai 7.500 meter di atas permukaan laut dan berada di Bhutan yang berbatasan dengan China.
Gangkhar Puensum menjadi gunung tertinggi di dunia yang belum berhasil ditaklukkan manusia. Cuaca yang ekstrim adalah tantangan paling sulit yang harus dihadapi untuk mencapai puncak Gangkhar Puensum.
3. Tsingy de Bemaraha
Tsingy de Bemaraha merupakan hutan bebatuan karst terbesar di dunia yang terbentuk secara alami di dalam taman nasional seluas 1.500 kilometer persegi. Ngarai bebatuan ini terbentuk dalam periode satu juta tahun dan sebagian besarnya merupakan gua-gua besar di bawah tanah.
Taman nasional ini berlokasi di Barat Laut Madagaskar. Kata Tsingy sendiri diambil dari bahasa Inggris, Tsing, yang berarti, tempat yang tidak bisa dilalui atau dijangkau dengan kaki telanjang.
Seperti arti namanya, tempat ini memang tidak dapat dijelajahi karena batuan kapur yang ada di sana telah terkikis dan membuat sulit diinjak.
4. Pulau Devon
Pulau ini terletak di Baffin Bay, Kanada dan merupakan pulau tak berpenghuni terbesar di bumi. Memiliki luas 55.257 kilometer persegi menjadikan pulau ini sebagai pulau keenam terbesar di Kanada dan pulau terbesar ke-27 di dunia.
Pulau ini juga disebut memiliki kondisi yang mirip dengan planet Mars sehingga pulau ini digunakan sebagai lokasi penelitian oleh NASA.
