AHY Urges Anies Candidate to Be Announced, Nasdem: It's Not That Easy
General Treasurer of the Nasdem Party Ahmad Sahroni said that announcing the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) was not an easy thing.
In the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP), there are 3 parties that continue to communicate about Anies Baswedan's vice presidential candidate.
The general chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), has urged Anies' vice presidential candidate to be announced immediately. The reason is, the 2024 Election is only a few months away.
"It's not that easy to announce it. Because the 3 coalition parties are still communicating significantly, when (the declaration), I don't know what day it is, only the ketum know," said Sahroni when met at the DPR Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (8/ 6/2023).
Sahroni ensured that there was no definite candidate for vice president for Anies.
Even so, he understands that many people want to know who their respective presidential candidates have chosen.
"So, the pressure rather than the rhetoric that has occurred lately is because I want it to be announced as soon as possible," he said.
Previously, AHY said that his party was obliged to remind the Change Coalition for Unity (KPP) regarding the momentum of determining the vice presidential candidate (bawapres) to accompany Anies Baswedan.
According to him, the KPP must immediately take progressive steps because the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) is just around the corner.
"We have an obligation to remind you, it's already June. The elections are only a few months away, if we want to be successful, so Indonesia is big and has a large population, then we need preparation," AHY said at the Democratic Party DPP office, Jalan Proklamasi, Menteng, Jakarta, Wednesday (7/6/2023).
In his view, the 75-day campaign period set by the General Elections Commission (KPU) is too short to be able to achieve victory in the upcoming presidential election.
This is because the campaign must be carried out by addressing as many people as possible in various regions of the country.
"Therefore, we need a machine that works very effectively, political parties as bearers, God willing, in time they have to carry out crisis management, campaign management that is also modern, but deeply rooted in society," he said.
He claimed that he received a lot of people's aspirations who wanted to see Anies determine his deputy vice president.
For him, the sooner it is decided, the more it will help KPP win.
"The more solid we are, the sooner we can declare that these three parties are ready to nominate a partner who is also ready to meet in the presidential election later, the taste will be better and we can work even more actively and in a more measurable way," he said.
AHY Desak Cawapres Anies Diumumkan, Nasdem: Tidak Semudah Itu
Bendahara Umum Partai Nasdem Ahmad Sahroni mengatakan, mengumumkan calon wakil presiden (cawapres) bukanlah suatu hal yang mudah.
Di Koalisi Perubahan untuk Persatuan (KPP), ada 3 partai yang terus berkomunikasi terkait cawapres Anies Baswedan.
Adapun Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) mendesak agar cawapres Anies segera diumumkan. Alasannya, Pemilu 2024 tinggal menghitung bulan.
"Kan tidak semudah itu mengumumkan. Karena 3 partai koalisi masih terus berkomunikasi dengan signifikan, kapan (deklarasi), entah hari apa itu, yang tahu hanya para ketum," ujar Sahroni saat ditemui di Gedung DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Kamis (8/6/2023).
Sahroni memastikan, belum ada nama cawapres yang sudah pasti dipilih oleh Anies.
Meski begitu, dia memahami bahwa banyak orang yang ingin tahu siapa cawapres yang dipilih oleh capres masing-masing.
"Jadi, desakan daripada retorika yang terjadi belakangan hari ini karena kepengen diumumkan secepatnya," kata dia.
Sebelumnya, AHY mengatakan, pihaknya wajib mengingatkan Koalisi Perubahan untuk Persatuan (KPP) terkait momentum penetapan bakal calon wakil presiden (bacawapres) untuk mendampingi Anies Baswedan.
Menurut dia, KPP harus segera mengambil langkah progresif karena gelaran Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) 2024 tinggal sebentar lagi.
“Kami punya kewajiban untuk mengingatkan, ini sudah bulan Juni. Waktu pemilu tinggal sekian bulan lagi, kalau kita mau sukses, jadi Indonesia itu besar dan penduduknya banyak, maka kita butuh persiapan,” ujar AHY di kantor DPP Partai Demokrat, Jalan Proklamasi, Menteng, Jakarta, Rabu (7/6/2023).
Dalam pandangannya, 75 hari waktu kampanye ditetapkan Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) amat singkat untuk bisa meraih kemenangan pada pilpres mendatang.
Sebab, kampanye harus dilakukan dengan menyapa sebanyak mungkin masyarakat di berbagai wilayah Tanah Air.
"Dengan demikian perlu mesin yang bekerja dengan sangat efektif, partai-partai politik sebagai pengusung insya Allah pada saatnya harus menjalankan manajemen krisis, manajemen kampanye yang juga modern, tapi mengakar betul di masyarakat,” papar dia.
Ia mengklaim banyak menerima aspirasi masyarakat yang ingin segera melihat Anies menentukan bacawapresnya.
Bagi dia, semakin cepat diputuskan, akan semakin membantu pemenangan KPP.
“Kalau kita semakin solid, semakin segera bisa menyatakan bahwa tiga partai ini siap mengusung pasangan yang juga siap bertemu dalam pilpres nanti, rasa-rasanya lebih baik dan kita bisa bekerja secara lebih giat lagi dan lebih terukur,” ujar dia.
