Media-media internasional yang berbasis di Asia Tenggara ikut menyoroti keberhasilan timnas Indonesia meraih medali emas SEA Games 2023.
Timnas U22 Indonesia tampil sebagai juara cabang olahraga sepak bola putra SEA Games 2023 Kamboja dan berhak atas medali emas.
Pada laga final sepak bola putra SEA Games 2023 yang digelar Selasa (16/5/2023) malam WIB, Indonesia sukses mengalahkan Thailand.
Bertanding di Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh, timnas U22 Indonesia berhasil menaklukkan Thailand dengan skor 5-2 melalui babak extra time.
Ramadhan Sananta memborong dua gol bagi Indonesia, masing-masing pada menit ke-21 dan 45+5.
Adapun tiga gol Garuda Muda lainnya dicetak oleh Irfan Jauhari (91'), Fajar Fathur Rahman (107'), dan Beckham Putra Nugraha (120').
Sementara itu, dua gol Thailand dibukukan oleh Anan Yodsangwal (65') dan Yotsakorn Burapha (90'+7).
Partai final yang "gila"
Laga Indonesia vs Thailand pada final sepak bola putra SEA Games 2023 memang berlangsung menegangkan.
Pelatih timnas U22 Indonesia, Indra Sjafri, sempat melakukan selebrasi terlalu dini, padahal wasit belum meniup peluit panjang tanda selesainya pertandingan.
Tak berselang lama, para pemain Indonesia kehilangan fokus dan Thailand bisa menyamakan skor tepat pada menit terakhir masa injury time babak kedua.
