'Pretty privilege' is often found in the world of work, especially the entertainment industry. A man named Eugenio Casnighi was recruited as a 'greeter' because of his beautiful face. But it seems that Eugenio's good looks are too bright to get him fired. He admitted that he was no longer hired because his appearance rivaled Kylie Jenner's.

Model Eugenio Casnighi revealed his experience working at the 2023 Met Gala. At that time, he was tasked with welcoming and accompanying the invited guests on the red carpet. He has been doing this work for the last two years. But unfortunately this year, Eugenio is no longer a 'greeter' because of a viral incident.

Last year, the man from Italy stole the attention of netizens when his handsome face appeared in various photos and videos of the Met Gala red carpet. Eugenio was seen accompanying famous celebrities, including Kylie Jenner. In a video, Eugenio even distracted the videographer when recording Emma Chamberlain's interview with Blackpink Jennie.

In the viral video, the camera which initially focused on Emma and Jennie turned to Eugenio who was standing behind. At that time, he was holding the tail of Jennie's dress. Apparently not wanting Eugenio's good looks to take any more attention, the man was fired.

"It was quite funny. They had fired me so I could say what I wanted. They blamed me. They said, 'You created the limelight so we don't want to work with you anymore,"' said Eugenio. "They told me today that they fired me. They fired me because I went viral last year," he explained.

Eugenio also revealed his job as a greeter. Apart from making sure the guests felt comfortable on the red carpet, he was also tasked with not allowing them to smoke. Unfortunately this is not always easy to do with celebrities. Last year two famous people got into trouble for smoking under the stairs.

"But these people don't care. They are very famous so they can do anything," said Eugenio.
Last year he was also assigned to accompany Kylie Jenner. He had even been given instructions about what the cosmetics businessman needed. But unfortunately not this year.
