Nicholas Galitzine Cheers on Anne Hathaway Ahead of Met Gala Debut

-- Nicholas Galitzine claimed he got a message from Anne Hathaway before attending his first Met Gala, Monday (6/5). This message was conveyed because Anne Hathaway was one of the Met Gala 'customers'.
Anne is said to have provided support and encouragement to him before attending the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The two stars recently became lovers in the film The Idea of You.
"Oh yes, she often [attends the Met Gala]. Anne said to have fun and catch up with others," said Nicholas Galitzine as reported by Access Hollywood, Monday (6/5).
"There are a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time, so that's [the message]," he said, saying he was very excited to attend his first Met Gala.
After getting a pep talk from Anne Hathaway, Nicholas Galitzine admitted that he was even more ready to attend the Met Gala. He appeared in a custom Fendi tuxedo for the event. "I think I'm getting used to these things now. I have a lot of friends inside and can't wait to meet them," he said.
One of the people he touched on was Uma Thurman. In 2023, both of them will star in Red, White & Royal Blue. Nicholas Galitzine also called the senior actress a special nickname when he saw her at the Met Gala. "She is my mother-in-law, and also my mother in the Chambers series. We have worked together twice," he said.
Nicholas Galitzine and other artists attended the 2024 Met Gala which has the theme Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion which will be hosted by Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny.

Meanwhile, the past year has been a busy time for Nicholas Galitzine. He recently played Hayes, the lead singer of the famous boy group August Moon, in the film The Idea of You.
In 2023, he also starred in two romcoms, namely Red, White & Royal Blue and Bottoms. Not only that, Galitzine also stars in the series Mary & George with Julianne Moore.
At the Met Gala, Nicholas Galitzine also said that he had shot something before going there and it would be released in the next few days. "Before [going to the Met Gala] I had time to film it first. It will be released soon," he said without detailing the content or project in question.
