The Archipelago Capital Region will have a training center to support Indonesian football
The Archipelago Capital Region will have a training center to support Indonesian football. There will be built at least eight football fields and is expected to be completed within the next year. The construction of the soccer field will be financed by the International Football Federation (FIFA).
Meanwhile, a total of 22 soccer stadiums in Indonesia have been audited and evaluated by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. These stadiums pose a high risk for the holding of League One, League Two and the Under-20 World Cup in 2023.
From the results of the audit and evaluation, there were 5 stadiums with heavy damage, 13 stadiums with moderate damage, and 4 stadiums with light damage. All of these stadiums will need to be demolished, some will be rehabilitated, some will only need minor renovations.
