HOLIDAY NEWS – Xiaomi plans to launch revolutionary new security features in HyperOS 2.0 update. This “hidden camera detection” feature has the potential to be a very useful security tool for Xiaomi device users.
This information came to light when Xiaomi manager Civi Cici used the MIX Fold 4 device. He discovered the hidden camera detection feature in the HyperOS 2.0 security application and tried to test it.
This feature uses intelligent algorithms and WLAN services to detect camera signals in certain areas. When the feature detects a signal emitted by the camera it will immediately alert the user.
In other words, this feature can recognize hidden cameras in the room via WLAN signals. In an era where technology can be both safe and dangerous for users HyperOS 2.0 offers new tools that prevent security threats in unknown areas.
This feature is similar to an online tool called “Ingram”. It's not yet clear whether Xiaomi will release this important feature with HyperOS 2.0 for all devices or just limited to high-end models. However, further information is likely to be revealed in the near future.
