Elon Musk Ready to Present Optimus Service Robot
CALIFORNIA - Tesla officially introduced their first humanoid robot, named Optimus. This robot can walk and serve guests, such as serving drinks and distributing gift bags.
As reported by Wion News, Optimus is also shown doing household tasks such as watering plants and picking up packages.
Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, said that in the future, Optimus will be able to do more daily work, such as walking dogs, looking after children, and mowing the grass.
Optimus is expected to sell for around USD 20,000 to USD 30,000.
Even though it cannot be fully used at this time, Musk estimates that this robot will be ready in 2026.
Currently, Optimus has begun to be seen in Tesla factories and continues to be developed so that it can operate independently.
When it debuted in 2022, this robot was still controlled remotely, but now Optimus is able to move on its own.
Apart from introducing Optimus, Tesla also introduced two new autonomous vehicles, namely Cybercab, a driverless taxi, and Robovan, an autonomous vehicle that can carry up to 20 people.

Musk said that Optimus was basically designed to be able to do various things, such as mowing the grass, cleaning the kitchen, taking care of children, or just being a friend.
