In 1997, Larry wanted to replace BackRub with another name. 

He also discussed it with other student friends, including a colleague named Sean Anderson.

The Page family home was filled with personal computers and first-generation scientific magazines. 

His older brother, Carl Page, is also known to be a successful internet entrepreneur. 

Page began his elementary education at a Montessori school, and then went to East Lansing Middle School. 

After graduating, Page decided to continue his education to a higher level, namely a Bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan. 

Page eventually earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Michigan. 

He was an honors student at the University of Michigan. 

 After graduating, he began graduate studies in computer science at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. 

It was there that he first conducted a research project analyzing connection patterns between different sites on the World Wide Web. 

It was also at Stanford that he first met computer science graduate student Sergey Brin and recruited him to join his research project. 

According to Biography, Page has been married to research scientist Lucinda Southworth since 2007. 

The couple has two children. 

Meanwhile, Sergey Brin was born in Moscow, Russia, on August 21, 1973. 

Brin and his family immigrated to the United States when he was six years old and grew up in Adelphi, Maryland. 

The owner of the full name Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin has a father, Michael Brin, who is none other than a mathematics professor at the University of Maryland. 

Like Larry Page, he attended a Montessori school as a child.

He graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in 1990 and attended the University of Maryland, College Park. 

Achievement wrote that in just three years, Brin graduated with the highest honors in mathematics and computer science. 

He attended graduate school at Stanford University on a graduate scholarship from the National Science Foundation. 

Brin has written more than a dozen papers on data mining and pattern extraction for leading academic journals. 

It is known that Brin is also skilled at creating websites for film ratings and designing software applications for translating documents from TeX, a text processing language often used for scientific papers, to HTML. 

In 2003, Brin married 23andMe co-founder Anne Wojcicki. 

However, Brin's household did not run smoothly. 

Brin and Anne finally divorced in 2015. 

Brin married lawyer and entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan in 2018. 

The two also had a daughter later that year. 

Long story short, the two graduate students at Stanford University developed a search engine called "BackRub", which was operated using a server on their campus. 

In 1997, Page wanted to replace BackRub with another name. 

He also discussed it with other fellow students, including a colleague, Sean Anderson. 

As time went by, suggestions began to emerge for the name "Googol", which is a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. 

This name was taken to explain the search engine's mission as a repository of unlimited information on the internet. 

Sean then looked for whether the domain "Googol.com" was already in use or not. 

However, he mistyped it as "Google.com". 

Even though he made a typing error, Page apparently liked the name "Google". 

Plus, no one is using the Google.com domain yet. 

Both of them do not master the HTML programming language, so Google's home page appears clean from the first time it operates. 

Page and Brin also wanted a search engine with a concise interface. 

Therefore, searching via Google is made simple. 

Users simply press the Enter key after entering their search keywords. 

In 2015, Larry Page and Sergey Brin decided to restructure Google. 

According to Biography, the two founders of Google then founded a new, larger company called Alphabet. 

Alphabet was made a company with a higher position. 

 It is the parent company of Google and a number of other large companies. 

After the restructuring, the two moved to Alphabet, while the leadership of Google was entrusted to Sundar Pichai. 

Now, Pichai serves as CEO of Google and Alphabet.

Oleh karena itu, pencarian melalui Google dibuat sederhana.

Tahun 2015, Larry Page dan Sergey Brin memutuskan untuk melakukan restrukturisasi pada Google.
