Portuguese football star, Cristiano Ronaldo, recommends a destination for everyone in the world to visit. He shared this in a video released on his official YouTube channel this week.
In March 2024, Cristano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, enjoyed a luxury vacation at the St Regis Red Sea Resort in Saudi Arabia. He took a holiday after his club, Al Nassr's victory in the Saudi Arabian Cup.
As reported by Luxury Travel Magazine, the Red Sea is a red tourist destination located on the west coast of Saudi Arabia, with the aim of becoming the most ambitious regenerative tourism project in the world.
In his new YouTube video entitled "This is how I felt when I found paradise", Ronaldo described the destination as a "magical Red Sea Project".
The former Manchester United striker stated that the Red Sea was a destination that really surprised him this year. He recommended the destination to travelers from all over the world.
The 39-year-old hopes his wish comes true that people visit the Red Sea. Ronaldo praised this destination as an extraordinary place.
The St. Regis Red Sea is one of three resorts currently open in the Red Sea destination, with another 14 resorts set to open throughout 2024 and 2025, including Nujuma, the Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
By 2030, when the Red Sea destination is fully completed, it will be home to 50 hotels across the island and inland locations, and will also include a luxury marina, golf course, entertainment, F&B and recreational facilities.
This destination includes pristine land and waters, a vast archipelago of more than 90 islands, sweeping desert sand dunes, rugged mountain canyons, dormant volcanoes, and ancient cultural and heritage sites.
Red Sea Global ('RSG') is the responsible developer and visionary behind this luxury and regenerative tourism destination, powered by 100% renewable energy.
The Red Sea goes beyond sustainability to deliver a regenerative impact on the environment, providing a net conservation benefit of 30% to local ecosystems by 2040.
This is just one of RSG's ambitious development efforts, which also include AMAALA and Thuwal Private Retreat, as well as the new Red Sea International Airport, which welcomes domestic and international flights and will be completely carbon neutral when fully operational.
Interest in Saudi Arabia as a tourist destination is growing: currently, 1.2 million tourists travel to the Red Sea coast every year.
