Al-Qassam Uploads Video Message from Israeli Woman Hostage: I Don't Want to Die Here, Time Is Running Out
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Hamas Resistance Movement – published an audio message from an Israeli detainee demanding that the Netanyahu government release prisoners held in Gaza. In the voice message, the hostage, known to be a woman, admitted that she had been detained for 237 days.
The voicemail also asks whether people in Israel have partnered with Netanyahu, Gallant, and Gantz who insist on continuing the war without being able to release prisoners.
He called on Israelis to fill the streets of Israel to demonstrate demanding their release.
"Save us, time is running out... We don't want to die here," reads the Hebrew message translated into English text.
Regarding Israeli hostages, last week a spokesman for Hamas' armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, said its fighters had killed and captured Israeli soldiers during fighting in Jabalia, northern Gaza. It is said that the tension occurred on Saturday (25/5/2024), quoted from Middle East Eye.
Al-Qassam Brigades admitted that several soldiers had been kidnapped but did not provide evidence for this claim.
"Our fighters lured the Zionist forces into an ambush in the tunnel," said Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman, Abu Ubaida, in a recorded message broadcast by Al Jazeera on Sunday morning (26/5/2024).
The Israeli military on Sunday denied the claims of the Al-Qassam Brigades.
“The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) clarified that there was no incident resulting in a soldier being kidnapped,” the military said in a statement.
Israeli soldiers (IDF) evacuate their comrades who were seriously injured in fighting in the Gaza Strip. In the Zaytoun neighborhood, IDF forces reportedly faced fierce resistance from Palestinian resistance militia factions with the Al Qassam Brigades, Al QUds Brigades, and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades uniting their attacks on IDF forces. IDF Reportedly Kills Own Soldiers
Later, news emerged that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) killed its own troops when they were almost hostage, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. This happened during the Israeli army's fight with Al-Qassam east of Rafah.
It is known that, Wednesday (29/5/2024), Al-Qassam fighters succeeded in carrying out a complex operation after trapping Zionist troops in an ambush near Al-Shouka School, east of Rafah.
Al-Qassam detonated the Ra'adiya explosive device, killing 4 Zionist soldiers. Not only that, Israeli soldiers were also injured as a result of the explosion. "When the Israeli rescue force arrived, our fighters managed to shoot two soldiers from the force," the Al-Qassam Brigades report said, citing the Palestine Chronicle.
Then it was reported that the Israeli Army had tried to capture Israeli soldiers but the IDF itself killed the troops. “When our fighters tried to capture one of the soldiers, the enemy (Zionist soldiers) killed him. "A helicopter landed to transport the dead and injured during the operation," the report continued.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also targeted a Zionist Merkava tank with Al-Yassin 105 shells near the Al-Abd Jabr intersection in the Yabna camp in Rafah City, south of the Gaza Strip. The following are other resistance efforts by the Al-Qassam Brigades:
Al-Qassam fighters were able to target a number of Zionist soldiers barricaded inside a house with TBG anti-personnel bullets in the Al-Shouka area, east of Rafah City, south of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam fighters reportedly targeted two Zionist Merkava tanks with two Al-Yassin 105 shells in the vicinity of the Khaled Bin Walid Mosque in the Al-Salam neighborhood east of Rafah City in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam Brigades targeted a Zionist Merkava tank and a D9 military bulldozer with two Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Al-Abd Jabr area of Yabna camp, south of Rafah City.
Al-Qassam Brigades targeted a Zionist Merkava-4 tank with Al-Yassin 105 shells at Al-Khalifa Square in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
