- Nama Diego Sinathrya, the youngest son of celebrities Darius Sinathrya and Donna Agnesia, has to accept the bitter reality.

He failed to make it into the final squad for the U-16 Indonesian National Team for the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup.

Even though he was called to take part in the selection, Diego and two other names were dropped at the final stage. This is certainly a bitter pill for Diego who has shown his talent and hard work in the world of football.

Diego started his football career at the academy of The International Center of European Football in France. Currently, he is studying at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Academy Pro Residency Greater Geneva. There, Diego won the Player of the Month award in February 2024. This failure does not mean the end of Diego's journey.

Full support from his parents and older brother, Lionel Nathan, who also has a career as a footballer, is motivation for Diego to continue training and pursuing his dreams. Even though he failed to make it to the Indonesian U-16 national team, Diego's talent cannot be doubted. At his young age, Diego still has many opportunities to develop and prove his abilities in the future.

Darius' response
Darius Sinathrya responded that this failure was not the end.
"This is not the end of the deck! Last night Diego and two of his friends were given the news that they had to leave the team because they were not included in the list of 23 players who would compete in the AFF U-16," wrote Darius on Instagram.

"It was a valuable journey and experience for Diego to be able to get the opportunity to be selected and continue with the TC program for almost 2 months, training with the best young talents in a very intense program."

"Diego's journey with the U-16 national team at AFF may be over, but Diego's football career still has a long way to go, there is only one choice, to keep practicing to get better and better!" Darius emphasized.
