This site is the only remaining Tatar fortress in Russia, which contains buildings from the 10th to 16th centuries as well as buildings from the 16th to 19th centuries.
Thanks to its dense historical significance, the Kazan Kremlin was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. In fact, the first edition of the Koran printed by Muslims was published in Kazan.

One of the foreign tourists from Malaysia, Raymond Tan, said how much he enjoyed the views and architecture offered by Kazan.
"I really enjoyed (the experience). Kazan is very different from Moscow. In my opinion, the architecture of the buildings is very unique.
When compared to my home country (Malaysia), everything is different here. There is a lot of snow here, in fact there is no snow in Kuala Lumpur or in Jakarta. "The people (in Kazan) are also tall and handsome," said Raymond to the MNC Portal Indonesia Team some time ago in Kazan, Russia.
