2024 Qatar MotoGP Sprint Race Results: Jorge Martin Champion, Marc Marquez Fifth

- You can see the results of the 2024 Qatar MotoGP sprint race here. Jorge Martin came out as champion, while the defending champion, Francesco Bagnaia, secured fourth position. Then Marc Marquez, who just joined Ducati this season, successfully finished in fifth position.

The opening series of the 2024 MotoGP will be presented at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, on March 8-10. The Qatar MotoGP sprint race menu will be held on Saturday (9/4) at around 23.00 WIB.

The Pramac Racing racer managed to win the 11 lap mini race. The racer from Spain finished with a time of 20 minutes 41.287 seconds. In second place is the Red Bull KTM racer, Brad Binder, with a difference of 0.548 seconds, followed by Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) in third with a difference of 0.729 seconds.

The Ducati Lenovo racer, who is also the defending MotoGP champion in 2023, had to settle for fourth place with a gap of 1.625 seconds from Martin. Reflecting on last season, the rider nicknamed Pecco did not perform well at the start of the season. But in the middle to the end of the season, Bagnaia will usually go crazy and become a title contender.

What about Marc Marquez, who has just made his debut with the Ducati Gresini Racing satellite team? The Baby Alien apparently performed quite well by locking in fifth position. Marquez is 1.872 seconds away from Martin. Marquez's tandem, which is also his younger brother, Alex Marquez, finished seventh with a difference of 3.154 seconds.

On the other hand, Yamaha still seems to be having difficulty breaking into the top flight, where Fabio Quartararo only finished 12th and Alex Rins finished 17th. Another Japanese team experienced a similar fate, namely Repsol Honda. Repsol Honda's new racer, Luca Marini, finished in 21st place, aka the deadliest, while Joan Mir finished the race in 15th place.

Pebalap Pramac Racing berhasil menjuarai balapan mini yang berjumlah 11 lap itu. Pebalap asal Spanyol finis dengan catatan waktu 20 menit 41,287 detik. Di posisi kedua ada pebalap Red Bull KTM, Brad Binder, yang berselisih jarak 0,548 detik, disusul Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) di urutan ketiga dengan selisih waktu 0.729 detik.

Pebalap Ducati Lenovo yang sekaligus juara bertahan MotoGP 2023, harus puas menempati urutan keempat dengan gap 1,625 detik dari Martin. Berkaca pada musim lalu, rider berjuluk Pecco itu memang kurang tampil bagus di awal-awal musim. Tapi pada pertengahan hingga akhir musim, biasanya Bagnaia akan menggila dan menjadi penantang gelar juara.

Bagaimana dengan Marc Marquez yang baru menjalani debut bersama tim satelit Ducati Gresini Racing? The Baby Alien ternyata tampil cukup baik dengan mengunci posisi lima. Marquez berjarak 1,872 detik dari Martin. Tandem Marquez yang juga adiknya, Alex Marquez, finis di urutan ketujuh dengan selisih 3,154 detik.

Di sisi lain, Yamaha tampaknya masih kesulitan menembus papan atas, di mana Fabio Quartararo hanya finis le-12 dan Alex Rins finis di urutan ke-17. Nasib serupa dialami tim Jepang lainnya, yakni Repsol Honda. Pebalap baru Repsol Honda, Luca Marini, finis di urutan ke-21 alias paling buncit, sementara Joan Mir menuntaskan balap di urutan ke-15.
