How to Remove Malware and Viruses from Android Phones

- Just like computers, Android phones can fall victim to viruses and malware. This infection can slow down the system and cause interference that makes it difficult to use the cellphone.
Luckily, there are several steps users can take to scan their phone and remove malware and viruses from their Android phone:
1. If the user thinks they know which application is causing the problem, the user can go to Settings> Apps and delete it.
2. Alternatively, if the user is not sure which app is causing the problem, now is the time to download and install an antivirus app which can help scan and clean the phone.

The first step to removing malware from an Android phone is to find it.
First, turn off the phone until the user knows the specifics.
Once the user is sure that the phone is attacked by malware, hold down the power button and turn off the phone completely. This may not stop malware from causing damage, but it can stop the problem getting worse and may stop ongoing malware attempts to access nearby networks.
