Here are the Three New AI Features in Google Chrome 121
Some time ago Google released Google Chrome Browser version 121 for all users, in this version there are three new experimental features related to generative AI which are targeted to improve the user's browsing experience.
The three features include a tab organizer, AI-generated custom themes, and an AI-powered writing assistant. It is hoped that these three features can help users make browsing with Google Chrome more enjoyable and easier, and the following is a brief explanation of these three features.
Tab organizer, this is a feature that aims to make managing multiple tabs more effective, where currently users can right-click a tab and select the “Organize Similar Tabs” option or use the drop down arrow menu, Chrome will propose tab groups based on the current tabis being opened.
According to Google, this automation is claimed to be useful for performing many tasks and keeping the user's browser tidy. Apart from that, the browser will also suggest names and emojis for this tab group which will make it easier for users to select them again.
AI Generated Custom Themes, building on the introduction of AI generative wallpapers introduced last year for Android 14 devices, Chrome says it now incorporates a text-to-image diffusion model to create custom themes. This aims to enable users to create their own themes assisted by AI technology.
Finally, there is the AI-powered writing assistant, this is a tool that is intended to make users more confident in writing something on the web, where on any text form, users can right click > Help me write to start the AI-powered writing process.
Interesting, isn't it? The three features above are intended to make it easier and more comfortable for users to use Google Chrome, but please note that currently these features are not active, yep, in other words we have to activate them first.
So how do you activate it?, it's simple, the steps themselves have even been written on the following Google page.
In essence, to get this feature, you must be in the US region and you must be 18 years old (you must log in with your Google account), apart from that you can activate the Experimental AI option from the Settings > Experimental AI page.

Ini Dia Tiga Fitur AI Baru di Google Chrome 121
Beberapa waktu lalu Google telah merilis Browser Google Chrome versi 121 untuk semua pengguna, dalam versi ini ada tiga fitur experimental baru terkait dengan AI generatif yang ditargetkan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman browsing pengguna.
Tiga fitur tersebut mencakup tab organizer, AI-generated custom themes, dan AI-powered writing assistant. Ketiga fitur ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengguna agar browsing dengan Google Chrome lebih menyenangkan dan lebih mudah, dan berikut adalah penjelasan singkat dari tiga fitur tersebut.

Yang terakhir ada AI-powered writing assistant, ini adalah sebuah tool yang dimaksudkan agar pengguna bisa lebih percaya diri menulis sesuatu di web, dimana pada form teks manapun, pengguna bisa klik kanan > Help me write, untuk memulai proses penulisan yang didukung AI.

Menarik bukan?, ketiga fitur diatas dimaksudkan agar pengguna bisa lebih mudah dan lebih nyaman menggunakan Google Chrome, namun perlu diketahui bahwa saat ini fitur tersebut belum aktif, yap, dengan kata lain kita harus mengaktifkannya terlebih dahulu.
Lalu bagaimana cara mengaktifkannya?, sederhana saja, langkahnya sendiri bahkan telah ditulis pada halaman Google berikut.
Intinya, untuk mendapatkan fitur ini, kamu harus berada di region US dan kamu harus telah berumur 18 tahun (kamu wajib login dengan akun Google kamu), selain itu kamu bisa mengaktifkan opsi Experimental AI dari halaman Settings > Experimental AI.
Ketika saya coba, sayangnya region akun saya ada di Indonesia, jadi saya belum bisa mengaktifkan fitur ini, apakah kamu bisa? komen dibawah guys.
