For Safer Browsing, Google Chrome Can Add New Features

Additionally, Chrome Browser automatically removes site permissions (such as access to location or microphone) for sites you haven't visited in a while. Additionally, the ability to turn off notifications from sites has also been simplified.
In addition to new security improvements, Chrome also introduces new performance controls. Building on last year's introduction of performance controls like Memory Saver mode, Chrome now provides more detailed insights.
In Memory Saver mode, users can hover over the tabs to see complete information about how much memory they are using. Furthermore, users can also determine which sites should always be active, ensuring a smoother browsing experience.
To set Memory Saver Mode, users have to go to the performance section in settings and enable Memory Saver for an optimal performance experience.
Furthermore, Chrome now also allows workgroup storage to free up memory, tidy up, and organize an ever-evolving experience. This feature will be coming in the coming days and can be activated by clicking the “Save Group” feature, so it can be accessed on other devices.
Interestingly, Google Chrome is bringing support for a new AI model, Gemini, which will support smarter and more useful features in the first few months of 2024.
