Elon Musk Flicks Mark Zuckerberg, Says Application Thread Isn't Selling
CALIFORNIA – The feud between the two biggest technology bosses in the world, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, has heated up again after Musk made negative comments about the Thread application made by the Meta company.
This sentiment was conveyed by Twitter boss Elon Musk in a podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.
Musk called Threads a "ghost town", because this application is very devoid of user tweets.
Not only that, Musk also criticized Zuckerberg Musk's lack of interaction and posts in his new application.
"Ghost town threads, yes this place is very quiet. Even Zuck himself doesn't post, and uses his own products," said Musik as quoted from The Street page.
For your information, recently Twitter's sister Threads application was reported to be starting to lose popularity until its active users dropped sharply to 23.6 million.
In line with Similarweb, market intelligence firm Sensor Tower also reported that the Thread application created by Mark Zuckerberg has now lost popularity to the point that the number of daily users has decreased by double digits after its release.
A number of analysts estimate that this decline occurred due to the waning of the world's public fomo on Zuckerberg's new service.
Before experiencing a decline in users, many world netizens expressed their disappointment with Meta because their personal Instagram accounts were also lost when the thread account was permanently deleted.
Netizens also think that the Twitter application is more comfortable to use than Thread, which offers a number of advantages, including allowing users to log in using the Instagram account they already have.
More than that, Thread also offers users the ability to upload updates in text form with a limit of 500 characters, and videos with a duration of up to five minutes.
Even though it presents a number of new breakthroughs, unfortunately this does not necessarily attract people around the world to switch to using the Thread application.
