Regarding the Children of Police Officers Persecuting Students, Ahmad Sahroni Asks the National Police to Fire AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan
Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives (DPR) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Ahmad Sahroni asked the Professional and Security Division (Propam) of the National Police to give the heaviest sanction in the form of dismissal or Disrespectful Dismissal (PTDH) to AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan.
According to him, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Achiruddin Hasibuan was allegedly involved in a case of abuse by his son (with the initials AH) against students.
"But I'm sure there must have been allegations of interference from AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan so that the case of abuse by his son had stalled for up to 4 months. The father was clearly involved," said Sahroni in Jakarta, Wednesday.
For your information, AH is the son of a North Sumatra (Sumatra) Police officer, AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan. AH persecutes a student named Ken Admiral. The video of the abuse went viral on social media.
Ahmad Sahroni said PTDH's steps needed to be taken so that the case would not become a "stumbling block" for the Police again.
"I asked Propam Polri to consider giving the heaviest sanction in the form of PTDH. Don't let cases of arrogant and ignorant individuals like this lead to public trust in the Police, which had been steadily increasing, to decline again," he said in a press release, Wednesday.
However, Ahmad Sahroni appreciated the quick response of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in handling the case of alleged abuse by a young man with the initials AH.
"Appreciate the Head of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri) and the Head of the Regional Police (Kapolda) of North Sumatra (North Sumatra) who moved quickly to respond to the existing (viral) situation," said Ahmad Sahrno.
Because of that, he asked the North Sumatra Police to examine his staff who knew about the case 4 months ago, but did not follow up on the case.
AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan is often reckless
Furthermore, Ahmad Sahrano stated that AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan was often seen showing off his reckless riding of a Harley Davidson on his personal Instagram account.
This is certainly very dangerous and violates driving rules. Moreover, AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan is suspected of being a member of the Harley Davidson Club Indonesia (HDCI).
As the General Chairperson of HDCI, Sahroni also admitted that he was very disappointed with AKBP Achiruddin's reckless actions.
"We are currently checking whether (the perpetrator) is truly a member of HDCI. If they are true members, of course we will immediately revoke their membership cards," he said.
The Nasdem Party politician said AKBP Achiruddin's behavior did not show the attitude of a real Harley rider. The arrogant attitude that he showed on the street, really does not reflect HDCI's values.
“What was shown was a man who was shrouded in the arrogance of wealth, possessions, and power. It's really not worthy of an example," said Sahroni.

Wakil Ketua Komisi III Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) Republik Indonesia (RI) Ahmad Sahroni meminta Divisi Profesi dan Pengamanan (Propam) Polri memberikan sanksi terberat berupa pemecatan atau Pemberhentian Tidak Dengan Hormat (PTDH) kepada AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan.
Menurutnya, Ajun Komisaris Besar Polisi (AKBP) Achiruddin Hasibuan diduga terlibat dalam kasus penganiayaan yang dilakukan anaknya (berinisial AH) kepada mahasiswa.
"Namun saya yakin pasti ada dugaan campur tangan dari AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan sehingga kasus penganiayaan oleh anaknya ini sempat mandek sampai 4 bulan. Sang ayah jelas terlibat,” kata Sahroni di Jakarta, Rabu.
Untuk diketahui, AH merupakan anak dari perwira polisi Polda Sumatera Utara (Sumut), AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan. AH menganiaya mahasiswa bernama Ken Admiral. Video penganiayaanya viral di media sosial (medsos).
Ahmad Sahroni mengatakan, langkah PTDH perlu diambil agar kasus tersebut tidak kembali menjadi “batu sandungan” bagi Polri.
“Saya minta Propam Polri pertimbangkan untuk berikan sanksi terberat berupa PTDH. Jangan sampai karena kasus oknum arogan dan tidak tahu batasan seperti ini, kepercayaan publik kepada Polri yang tadinya terus meningkat, malah kembali merosot,” katanya dalam siaran persnya, Rabu.
Meski demikian, Ahmad Sahroni mengapresiasi respons cepat Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) dalam menangani kasus dugaan penganiayaan dilakukan pemuda berinisial AH.
“Apresiasi Pak Kepala Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Kapolri) dan Kepala Kepolisian Daerah (Kapolda) Sumatera Utara (Sumut) yang gerak cepat respons situasi (viral) yang ada," kata Ahmad Sahrno.
Karena itu, dia meminta Polda Sumut memeriksa jajarannya yang mengetahui kasus tersebut sejak 4 bulan lalu, tetapi tidak menindaklanjuti kasus tersebut.
AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan kerap ugal-ugalan
Lebih lanjut, Ahmad Sahrano menyatakan bahwa AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan terlihat kerap memamerkan sedang mengendarai Harley Davidson secara ugal-ugalan di akun instagram pribadinya.
Hal ini tentu sangat membahayakan dan melanggar aturan berkendara. Apalagi AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan diduga merupakan anggota dari Harley Davidson Club Indonesia (HDCI).
Sebagai Ketua Umum HDCI, Sahroni pun mengaku sangat kecewa dengan tindakan ugal-ugalan AKBP Achiruddin.
“Sedang kami cek apakah (pelaku) benar anggota HDCI. Kalau benar anggota, tentu kami akan langsung cabut kartu anggotanya,” katanya.
Politisi Partai Nasdem itu mengatakan, perilaku AKBP Achiruddin tidak menunjukkan sikap seorang pengendara Harley sesungguhnya. Sikap arogan yang dia tunjukan di jalan, sangat tidak mencerminkan nilai-nilai di HDCI.
“Yang dipertontonkan hanyalah seorang pria yang diselimuti rasa arogansi harta, jebatan, dan kekuasaan. Sangat tidak layak dicontoh,” kata Sahroni.
