The results of the latest survey by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) show that Prabowo Subianto occupies the top electability list in the simulation of three names of presidential candidates (candidates).
The general chairman of the Gerindra Party has an electability of 30.3 percent.
"Followed by Ganjar Pranowo 26.9 percent and Anies 25.3 percent," said LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan in an online survey release, Sunday (9/4/2023).
From these results, Djayadi saw a significant decrease in Ganjar's electability.
In the simulation of three presidential candidates, for example, Ganjar is said to have decreased his electability by 8 percent compared to the February 2023 survey.
"Ganjar Pranowo has fallen by around 8 percent in the last two months, from 35 percent to 26.9 percent," said Djayadi.
Nevertheless, Djayadi does not see the decline in Ganjar's vote going to Prabowo or Anies.
However, what he is sure to say is that Prabowo has experienced an increase in electability in this survey of around 3.6 percent.

"From (previously) 26.7 percent (to 30.3 percent)," he added. "Meanwhile, Anies tends to stabilize, experiencing a slight strengthening of 1.3 percent," he added.
However, he suspects, the decline in Ganjar's vote has shifted to respondents who answered they did not know or did not yet have a choice for a presidential candidate.
"But that's an assumption, only the main point is that there has been a significant decline," said Djayadi again.
For information, this survey period was conducted from 31 March to 4 April 2023.
The sample selection was carried out through the random digit dialing (RDD) method. RDD is a technique of selecting a sample through a random telephone number generation process.
Using the RDD technique, a sample of 1,229 respondents was selected through the process of generating random phone numbers, validating and screening.
The margin of error is estimated to be approximately 2.9 percent at the 95 percent confidence level, assuming simple random sampling.
Interviews with respondents were conducted via telephone by selected interviewers.
