Eligibility of Rewards Dropped because the U20 World Cup was Canceled, FX Rudy: He's a Villager, There's No Way to Influence FIFA
Chairman of the PDI-P Solo DPC FX Hadi Rudyatmo gave his response regarding the decline in the electability of Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo.
Ganjar's electoral drop was due, in part, to the cancellation of the U20 World Cup in Indonesia. Ganjar is considered to be one of the causes of the International Football Federation (FIFA) removing Indonesia as the host for the U20 World Cup because he had loudly rejected Israel's participation in the National Team.
Rudy, as he is affectionately known, believes that football fans need to understand more deeply the issue of canceling the U20 World Cup.
According to him, the cancellation of the 2023 U20 World Cup was not solely because Ganjar and Bali Governor I Wayan Koster rejected the Israeli national team.
"Whatever is being done has actually been decided beforehand. Ganjar karo (and) Koster can influence FIFA? That's cah deso-deso, opo yo isoh (village people, can you do that)? Right? It's like people village though. It's impossible to influence (the cancellation of the U20 World Cup)," said Rudy in Solo, Central Java, Wednesday (12/4/2023).
The former mayor of Solo considered the reason for the cancellation of the U20 World Cup in Indonesia due to security issues.
"So there have been special considerations. And of course more fundamental considerations regarding security. Nothing else," said Rudy.
Rudy assessed that the moment when Ganjar and President Jokowi were together in Solo for several days could boost the electability of the number one person in Central Java.
"Oh, it really can (boost electability). Right now, I'm starting to understand anyway. It's nobody who is being rejected. It's not really the holding of the World Cup. But Israel itself," he continued.
"If you want, according to the request made by PSSI. In accordance with the Foreign Minister's Regulation there is no national anthem, no flag, no attributes. Why do you keep on playing plain or bad? Don't you want it, Argentina is finally looking for the same schedule. That's the logic of my thinking," added Rudy.
Previously it was reported, the results of a poll by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI), Ganjar's electability had decreased over the last three months.
In the January 2023 survey, Ganjar pocketed 36.3 percent of the electorate. Then decreased in February to 35 percent. Then the April survey dropped significantly by around 8.1 percent to 26 percent.
According to the Director of LSI Djayadi, there were a number of factors that caused Ganjar's electability to decline. One of them, the signal of support repeatedly raised by President Joko Widodo for the general chairman of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.
Apart from that, Ganjar's electoral drop was also assessed because of the cancellation of the U-20 World Cup in Indonesia. The public considers Ganjar to be one of the reasons the International Football Federation (FIFA) removed Indonesia as the host for the U20 World Cup because he had loudly rejected the Israeli national team.
"It was followed by the disappointment of the world cup, so that fit (Ganjar's vote decreased)," he said.

Ketua DPC PDI-P Solo FX Hadi Rudyatmo memberi tanggapan mengenai turunnya elektabilitas Gubernur Jawa Tengah Ganjar Pranowo.
Anjloknya elektoral Ganjar disebabkan salah satunya karena batalnya gelaran Piala Dunia U20 di Tanah Air. Ganjar dinilai menjadi salah satu penyebab Federasi Sepak Bola Internasional (FIFA) mencopot Indonesia sebagai tuan rumah Piala Dunia U20 karena sempat lantang menolak kepesertaan Timnas Israel.
Rudy sapaan akrab menilai para pecinta sepak bola perlu memahami lebih dalam lagi persoalan batalnya Piala Dunia U20.
Menurut dia, batalnya Piala Dunia U20 2023 bukan semata karena Ganjar maupun Gubernur Bali I Wayan Koster yang menolak Timnas Israel.
"Apa pun yang dilakukan itu sebetulnya sudah diputuskan terlebih dahulu mestinya. Ganjar karo (dan) Koster bisa mempengaruhi FIFA? Itu kan cah deso-deso, opo yo isoh (orang desa, apa ya bisa)? Kan gitu. Ibaratnya kan orang-orang desa toh. Ndak mungkinlah bisa mempengaruhi (batalnya Piala Dunia U20)," kata Rudy di Solo, Jawa Tengah, Rabu (12/4/2023).
Mantan Wali Kota Solo itu menilai penyebab batalnya Piala Dunia U20 di Indonesia karena masalah keamanan.
"Jadi sudah ada pertimbangan-pertimbangan khusus. Dan tentunya pertimbangan yang lebih mendasar tentang keamanan. Tidak ada yang lain," ungkap Rudy.
Rudy menilai momen kebersamaan Ganjar dengan Presiden Jokowi di Solo selama beberapa hari bisa mendongkrak kembali elektabilitaas orang nomor satu di Jateng tersebut.
"Oh sangat bisa (mendongkrak elektabilitas). Kan sekarangkan sudah mulai paham toh. Yang ditolak itu bukan siapa-siapa. Bukan penyelenggaraan Piala Dunia-nya kok. Tapi Israel itu sendiri," sambungnya.
"Kalau mau sesuai dengan permintaan yang dilakukan oleh PSSI. Sesuai dengan Permenlu tidak ada lagu kebangsaan, tidak ada bendera, tidak ada atribut. Lha terus bal-balan opo polosan? Sana kan tidak mau, akhirnya dicarikan Argentina dengan jadwal yang sama. Itu logika berpikir saya aja," tambah Rudy.
Sebelumnya diberitakan, hasil jajak pendapat Lembaga Survei Indonesia (LSI), elektabilitas Ganjar menurun selama tiga bulan terakhir.
Pada survei Januari 2023 Ganjar mengantongi elektoral 36,3 persen. Kemudian menurun pada Februari menjadi 35 persen. Lalu survei April merosot signifikan sekitar 8,1 persen menjadi 26 persen.
Menurut Direktur LSI Djayadi, ada sejumlah faktor yang menyebabkan elektabilitas Ganjar merosot. Salah satunya, sinyal dukungan berulang kali dimunculkan Presiden Joko Widodo terhadap Ketua Umum Partai Gerindra Prabowo Subianto.
Selain itu, anjloknya elektoral Ganjar juga dinilai karena batalnya gelaran Piala Dunia U-20 di Tanah Air. Publik menganggap Ganjar menjadi salah satu penyebab Federasi Sepak Bola Internasional (FIFA) mencopot Indonesia sebagai tuan rumah Piala Dunia U20 karena sempat lantang menolak Timnas Israel.
"Dilanjutkan dengan peristiwa kekecewaan piala dunia, maka klop itu (suara Ganjar menurun)," katanya.
