Emma Mackey Calls Maeve's Character Not Back in the Sex Education Series
Mackey stated the biggest reason for the decision was the age difference. According to him, there is a very big difference between his age in the real world and in the series.
"It's always complicated, it's different when you play a character who's kind of stuck in time. We play characters who are 17 years old, whereas we're almost 30 years old. It's a bit weird," said Emma Mackey as reported by Total Film.
Furthermore, Mackey said that Meave's character will appear less in this season than before. Then, the character is reported to be an 'unusual' figure.
Even so, the actress still feels grateful to have joined the Netflix and Sex Education big family.
