HOLIDAY NEWS CUPERTINO - Google Search offers a more in-depth search experience by integrating web pages archived by the Internet Archive. 

A Google search will display links to pages that have been archived on the Wayback Machine, the Internet Archive's digital archiving tool. 

This partnership between Google and the Internet Archive allows users to access older versions of websites that may no longer be active. 

With this integration, Google can provide additional historical context about websites, which will make it easier for users to explore information that has long existed on the internet. 

"Many users, including researchers, appreciate the ability to view previous versions of web pages when available. That's why we added a link to the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine to the 'About This Page' feature," wrote Google as reported by 9to5google. 

Mark Graham, Director of the Wayback Machine, added that the Internet Archive's technology has been storing websites for 25 years. Even though the website may not have been visited for a long time, users can now see it again via Google Search. 

"With just one click users can open a portal to a more complete and rich web that remembers what others have forgotten," Graham said. 

To access Wayback Machine links, users only need to search on Google Search as usual. . 

With this new feature, searching for old information becomes easier and more useful, providing access to digital archives that may previously have been difficult to reach.
