Telegram Releases New Feature, There "Mini App Store" Search for Applications

HOLIDAY NEWS - Instant messaging platform Telegram is releasing a series of new features that improve the user experience. One of them is the presence of a mini application list aka Mini App Store.
This list of applications actually makes it easier to find mini applications (Mini Apps) that can be used on Telegram, for example games, artificial intelligence (AI)-based content creation tools and other tools.
To do this, users access the "Search" button which is located in the chat menu, precisely under the row of Telegram Stories.
Here, users will find a new menu called "Apps". This menu can be used to access various user applications, and a collection of other popular applications.
Developers can now also upload demonstration videos and screenshots (screenshots) to preview the mini-app. That way, users can get an overview of the application before opening it.
The Mini Apps menu in Telegram makes it easier for users to search for mini applications, games, and so on. Mini apps that use Telegram Stars have a chance to be featured in the "Popular Apps" menu.
Telegram Stars is a virtual currency that allows users to purchase services or content from bots and mini-apps on Telegram. Mini Apps can also now create a variety of Telegram Stories content, ranging from AI-based videos, user achievements, to screenshots of in-game leaderboards.
The browser in Telegram (in-app browser) is also updated. Now, pages accessed with the browser can be closed and opened, via the menu located at the bottom of the application (bottom bar). So, users can move from messages to sites, articles and mini-apps quickly.

When they receive a message notification while playing a game or opening a site, users can check the message and access the game or site again on Telegram without losing progress.
Users can save (bookmark) the page if they want to access it again.
The Telegram browser also supports decentralized websites provided (hosting) by Telegram Open Network (TON). This expands access to the Web3 internet ecosystem to Telegram users.
Telegram Stars Rewards
Furthermore, the instant messaging platform brings the feature of purchasing Telegram Stars as a gift. This is done via the "My Stars" > "Gift Stars to Friends" menu found in the settings menu.
Users will choose the recipient of the gift. Contacts of users who are celebrating their birthdays will be placed at the top, as quoted by KompasTekno from the official Telegram website, Monday (5/8/2024).
Users can now give Telegram Stars to contacts or friends.
Packages for purchasing Telegram Stars as gifts are quite varied, starting from 100 Stars which are priced at IDR 35,999 to 10,000 Stars which are sold for IDR 3.5 million.

Developer kini juga dapat mengunggah video demonstrasi dan tangkapan layar (screenshot) untuk pratinjau aplikasi mini tersebut. Dengan begitu, pengguna bisa mengetahui gambaran aplikasi tersebut sebelum membukanya.
Menu Mini Apps di Telegram mempermudah pengguna mencari aplikasi mini, game, dan lain sebagainya.
Aplikasi mini yang menggunakan Telegram Stars memiliki kesempatan untuk ditampilkan di menu "Popular Apps" alias aplikasi populer.
Telegram Stars adalah mata uang virtual yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk membeli layanan atau konten dari bot dan aplikasi mini di Telegram.
Mini Apps juga kini dapat membuat konten Telegram Stories yang beragam, mulai dari video berbasis AI, pencapaian (achievement) pengguna, hingga tangkapan layar sebuah papan peringkat (leaderboard) dalam game.
Peramban di Telegram (in-app browser) juga diperbarui. Kini, halaman yang diakses dengan browser tersebut bisa ditutup dan dibuka, lewat menu yang terletak di bawah aplikasi (bottom bar). Jadi, pengguna bisa berpindah dari pesan ke situs, artikel, dan aplikasi mini secara cepat.

Ketika mendapatkan notifikasi pesan saat sedang bermain game atau membuka situs, pengguna bisa mengecek pesan tersebut dan kembali mengakses game atau situs di Telegram tanpa kehilangan progres.
Pengguna dapat menyimpan (bookmark) halaman tersebut jika ingin kembali mengaksesnya.
Browser Telegram juga mendukung situs web desentralisasi yang disediakan (hosting) oleh Telegram Open Network (TON). Hal ini memperluas akses ekosistem internet Web3 ke pengguna Telegram.
