Jokowi Receives the Order of Zayed Award from the President of the United Arab Emirates

- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received the highest civilian award (Order of Zayed) from the President of the United Arab Emirates (PEA) Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan when the two met bilaterally at Qasr Al Watan on Wednesday (17/7/2024 ). This award was given in recognition of Jokowi's efforts to strengthen close relations between the two countries and increase bilateral cooperation during his 10-year term in office.
President Mohamed stated that the award of the Order of Zayed to President Joko Widodo was a testament to his personal appreciation for the invaluable efforts he has made to advance PEA-Indonesia relations.
Jokowi expressed his pride in receiving the award. According to him, the award reflects the special relationship between the two countries. Moreover, the award bears the name of the late Sheikh Zayed, a global inspirational figure with a legacy of eternal human values.
Upon receiving the award, Mohamed hopes that Jokowi will always be healthy and prosperous, and that the Indonesian people will become more advanced and prosperous.
On a separate occasion, Mohamed also awarded the Order of the Union to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. The award was given as a form of appreciation for Luhut's efforts in strengthening strategic relations between PEA and Indonesia.
The Order of Zayed is the highest civilian honor the PEA bestows on world leaders and heads of state. Apart from Jokowi, a number of figures who have received similar awards include Xi Jinping from China, Narendra Modi from India, Vladimir Putin from Russia, and the elected President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.

- Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menerima penghargaan sipil tertinggi (Order of Zayed) dari Presiden Persatuan Emirat Arab (PEA) Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan saat keduanya bertemu bilateral di Qasr Al Watan pada Rabu (17/7/2024). Penghargaan ini diberikan sebagai pengakuan atas upaya Jokowi untuk memperkuat hubungan erat antara kedua negara dan meningkatkan kerja sama bilateral selama 10 tahun masa jabatannya.
Presiden Mohamed menyatakan bahwa pemberian penghargaan Order of Zayed kepada Presiden Joko Widodo merupakan bukti penghargaan pribadi atas upaya yang sangat berharga yang telah dilakukannya untuk memajukan hubungan PEA-Indonesia.
Jokowi mengungkapkan rasa bangganya atas penerimaan penghargaan tersebut. Menurutnya, penghargaan tersebut mencerminkan hubungan istimewa antara kedua negara. Terlebih, penghargaan tersebut mengusung nama mendiang Sheikh Zayed, seorang tokoh inspiratif global dengan warisan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang abadi.
Atas diterimanya penghargaan itu, Mohamed berharap agar Jokowi senantiasa sehat dan sejahtera, serta agar rakyat Indonesia makin maju dan sejahtera.
Dalam kesempatan terpisah, Mohamed juga memberikan penghargaan Order of the Union kepada Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. Penghargaan tersebut diberikan sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas upaya Luhut dalam memperkuat hubungan strategis antara PEA dan Indonesia.
Order of Zayed merupakan penghargaan sipil tertinggi yang diberikan PEA kepada para pemimpin dunia dan kepala negara. Selain Jokowi, sejumlah tokoh yang pernah menerima penghargaan serupa antara lain Xi Jinping dari Tiongkok, Narendra Modi dari India, Vladimir Putin dari Rusia, hingga Presiden RI terpilih Prabowo Subianto.
