Taylor Swift Confirms Eras Concert Tour Will End in December 2024

Taylor Swift Confirms Eras Concert Tour Will End in December 2024
– Singer Taylor Swift has confirmed that her long-running Eras tour will end at the end of this year.

While performing in Liverpool, England, on Thursday (13/6/2024), Taylor Swift celebrated her 100th show on the tour. While thanking her fans for their support and dedication during her career-spanning tour, Taylor Swift admitted it won't last much longer. “This has been the most exhausting, all-encompassing, yet most exhilarating, most rewarding and most amazing thing I've ever thought of in my life, this tour,” said Taylor Swift, reflecting on Eras' 100th show, as reported by NME , Friday (14/6/2024).

“This is the first time I've admitted to myself and admitted that this tour will end in December. Just that. "It feels like a long way from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour," said Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift went on to add: “This tour has literally become my whole life, it's taken over everything, like I thought I once had a hobby, but I don't know what a hobby is anymore. What I do when I'm not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever mashups of acoustic songs and think about what you might want to hear.” After touring Europe, Taylor Swift will return to North America for her final Eras concerts in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis in October and November and then Canada.

His final show of the year – and likely the Eras tour as a whole – is currently scheduled for December 8th in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Earlier this month, NME gave a five-star review to Taylor Swift's first tour show in Edinburgh, writing: “Despite being an arena show, in a large, expansive venue, Swift and her fans have managed to foster a community. Strangers exchanged friendship bracelets, laughed and cried together, and picked up on tour jokes and lore (e.g. shouting “one, two, three, come on bitch” during ‘Delicate’).”
“This is the power of Taylor Swift, an artist who inspired not only the renaming of Scottish Loch, but also many fans coming forward and accepting to be part of the Eras family. "With The Eras Tour, Swift managed to create the magic of a performance that came with a pounding heart," added Taylor Swift.

Following the remaining shows in Liverpool, Taylor Swift will perform for one night in Cardiff on June 18 and three nights at London's Wembley Stadium on June 18-22. Taylor Swift then heads to Dublin on June 28, 2024, before touring across Europe.

- Liverpool, which is usually known as the city of The Beatles, has suddenly changed its face to become the city of Taylor Swift. A lot has changed there.

Usually, Beatlemaniacs come to visit legendary places such as The Beatles Statue, Penny Lane, Cavern Club and Mathew Street. But this time, the atmosphere in the city is even more Swiftie because Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is being held for three days, from 13 to 15 June. The Liverpool City Government really went all out to welcome the arrival of Swifties, the name for Taylor Swift fans.
Liverpool is the only city in the north of England that is lucky to host this year's Eras Tour. So, it's not surprising that the city atmosphere is so lively.

Outside Anfield Stadium, where the concert took place, there is a Taylor Town Trail that fans can enjoy. It's a kind of tour of the city full of Taylor Swift related art installations. One of the most interesting things is a playable piano covered in moss, similar to the one in the Cardigan video clip.

"The Taylor Town Trail will be a pop paradise for Swifties. Even if you don't have tickets to the concert, this experience will still be really memorable," said Claire McColgan, Director of Culture at Liverpool City Council, as reported by the BBC on Friday (14/6/2024 ). The Taylor Town Trail also takes visitors past famous locations in Liverpool. For example, the Royal Albert Dock is now decorated with a seven-foot butterfly installation inspired by Taylor's first album.

Lime Street Station also has a giant climbable clock, depicting the Midnights album. All of these installations were created by local artists and studios, including CatHeri Horehne Rogers, Anna Mulhearn, Buy By Bethan, and Submarine Studios. It cannot be denied that the Eras Tour has had a positive economic impact on Liverpool. Many local businesses are taking advantage of this moment by making special offers that match the Taylor Swift concert theme.
