Jokowi Healthy and Fit 63rd Birthday, Kominfo Funny "Sorrow" ?
It was thought to be sad news, the design of Jokowi's 63rd birthday greeting from Kominfo was changed
The design of the 63rd birthday greeting to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) from Kominfo was changed after receiving criticism from netizens. The first Kominfo design (left) was considered by netizens to be like an announcement of sad news. Then Kominfo deleted the upload on its official social media account and replaced it with another design (right).
- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) turned 63 on Friday (21/6/2024).
Various figures and state institutions also congratulated Jokowi, including from the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo).
On Friday, Kominfo uploaded birthday greetings to Jokowi in the form of images via its official account. In the upload, a photo of Jokowi appears with an ornament in the form of a frame and decorated with jasmine flowers.
"Happy 63rd Birthday, Mr. Ir. H. Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia," the post said.
However, netizens considered the design of the happy year greetings to Jokowi to be like sad news.
One of the netizens on social media (medsos) X, @kevinpramudya_, considered that the design was not suitable for publication.
"Just making a design for a birthday greeting for the president is ridiculous," wrote the account in its upload.
Then, there is also another account called @dhemit_is_back criticizing designers at Kominfo who he considers incompetent even though the institution already has a large budget.
"In the Kominfo class, is there really a lack of competent people? The large budget for work is really minimal... Please TKJ or DKV/MM SMK children, please help your uncles at the Ministry," he said.
After being criticized by netizens, Kominfo suddenly deleted the upload of Jokowi's birthday greetings. Then, on Saturday (22/6/2024), Kominfo again uploaded Jokowi's happy year greetings with a different design.
Now, the upload shows a photo of Jokowi wearing a white shirt and decorated with the National Monument as a background.
Even though it has been replaced, criticism of Kominfo from netizens has not stopped.
One netizen with the account name @NoAbsen13 quipped that Kominfo said he had only congratulated Jokowi today, even though the number one person in Indonesia had his birthday yesterday.
Apart from that, he also criticized Kominfo for not immediately changing the design of the greeting and uploading it on the same day. "How come it was uploaded on June 22? Where's the weekend? Last June 21 was still a weekday, why wasn't it done?" he wrote.
Other netizens also think that Kominfo took too long to make revisions regarding the design.
In fact, he even offered to have the design of Jokowi's birthday greetings done by the agency where he works.
"The revision took so long that it changed days, just used my office agency, the revision was finished in a matter of minutes, and I could go up again." "Admin is responsive, doesn't wait to be blasphemed by the universe before realizing something isn't right and taking it down," he wrote.
For information, Jokowi is the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia who was born in Solo, Central Java, on June 21 1961, to Noto Mihardjo and Sudjatmi.
Quoted from the page of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jokowi first entered government when he was Mayor of Solo for two terms on 28 July 2005-1 October 2012.
After that, he became Governor of DKI Jakarta on October 15 2012 after winning the DKI Pilkada when he was paired with Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok.
Becoming leader of the capital for two years, Jokowi moved up in class by running as a presidential candidate in the 2014 presidential election and paired with Jusuf Kalla (JK).
This pair also won over the pair of Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa and became elected President and Vice President in 2014.
Then, Jokowi ran again to become a presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential election and was paired with Ma'ruf Amin.
Again, he won from Prabowo, who at that time had Sandiaga Uno as his deputy.
As a result, Jokowi has served as President for two terms and his term of leadership will end on October 20 2024 and he will be replaced by Prabowo who won the 2024 presidential election with Jokowi's eldest son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
