Bella-Gigi Hadid Donates IDR 16 Billion for Palestine, Votes All Eyes On Rafah

Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid continue to voice their support for Gaza. These two model sisters criticized Israel's military actions in Palestine. 

Reporting from Wolipop, Saturday (1/6/2024), their family on their father's side is known to come from Palestine. Apart from uploading the post 'All Eyes On Rafah' on Instagram, they also tried to provide assistance by donating. 

Bella and Gigi Hadid reportedly showed their real support for the conflict between Hamas and Israel. The two combined to send $ 1 million or more than IDR 16 billion. This fantastic amount of money is focused on helping families and children affected by the war in Palestine. 

It was said that the donations would be distributed to four organizations, including HEAL Palestine, Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), World Central Kitchen (WCK), and United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). These organizations generally provide humanitarian assistance such as food and medical equipment for refugee families and psychological services in the midst of the ongoing war. 

Bella Hadid gave monetary assistance after the supermodel was in the spotlight for her style at Cannes. Her style was discussed because she wore a Keffiyeh dress. While showing off her beautiful appearance, Bella expressed her sentiments towards the people in Palestine who are experiencing difficulties due to the prolonged war.

"Palestine is in my mind, blood and heart. Always... While I have to work, even through these terrible events, wearing our culture makes me proud to be Palestinian and I want the world to continue to see Palestine wherever we go," he wrote. 

Previously, Gigi Hadid also showed support and feelings of sadness several times about the situation in Palestine. "I am deeply empathetic and heartbroken for the Palestinian struggle and their lives under colonialism," wrote Gigi Hadid. "It's a responsibility I take on every day," he added
Apart from Bella and Gigi Hadid, quite a lot of other world celebrities have also voiced 'All Eyes on Rafah' including Susan Sarandon, Bridgerton actor Nicola Coughlan, Mark Ruffalo, Jenna Ortega, Rosie O'Donnell, Kehlani, Melissa Barrera, and Grey's players Anatomy, Giacomo Gianniotti.
