Still naughty, YouTube is getting tougher with adblocker users
As we know, YouTube has openly shown its opposition towards users who use AdBlocker to bypass ads on their platform. They have taken various actions to get these "naughty" users to stop using AdBlocker on their sites. Well, recently YouTube took firm action again against these users.
YouTube Blocks Video Playback For AdBlocker Users
Quoting a report from 9To5Google, it is stated that AdBlocker users have recently been unable to watch videos on YouTube normally. This is because when they play a video on this platform, the video suddenly jumps to the end. Even if they replay the video, the same thing still happens. Apart from that, there are also users who try to play videos from certain minutes, but the results are still the same.
Therefore, many users believe that this is a deliberate move by YouTube to prevent AdBlock users on their platform. Because when they turn off the AdBlocker plugin, the videos they play can run normally. So as usual, if you want to enjoy videos on Google's streaming platform without advertising, they will advise you to subscribe to their Premium package. The prices vary, starting from IDR 34,990 for students and IDR 99 thousand for the family package.
