- Larry Page and Sergey Brin are the largest shareholders of Google's parent company, Alphabet. Even though they resigned from office in December 2019, they have a huge total wealth. The combined wealth of Page and Brin is worth $257 billion or IDR 4.1 quadrillion according to the Forbes Billionaires List.
According to businessinsider, Larry Page and Sergey Brin first met in 1995. At that time, Brin gave Page a tour around Stanford University. Brin is a second-year graduate student in Stanford's Computer Science department. Meanwhile, Page is still considering studying at Stanford University.
Even though at first, Page and Brin didn't get along, they ended up becoming classmates. In fact, they started working together to catalog every link on the internet that came from Page's idea called BackRub.
After that, Page and Brin founded Google in 1998 which was first launched in a Menlo Park garage, California. Page has duties as CEO of Google and CEO of Alphabet, while Brin is President of Google. Then, in 2019, the billionaire duo announced that they were withdrawing from Alphabet. However, after leaving Google, they had revenues reaching quadrillions.
The quadrillion income was spent by Page and Brin to buy property and assets. Meanwhile, the assets spent by them are as follows, including:
Page bought a $7.2 million (Rp. 110 billion) home in Old Palo Alto; Brin bought a penthouse in New York's West Village for $8.5 million (Rp. 136 billion); Page and Brin vacationed in Fiji and Sicily; and Page and Brin bought a superyacht for $80 million (Rp. 1 trillion).

According to kbbi, a quadrillion is 10 to the 15th power in the United States (US). Meanwhile, quadrillion also means 10 to the 24th power in England. There are two different systems used to name numbers over one million.
United States System
Reported by quadrillion.com, in the US system, the Latin prefix refers to the number of groups of three zeros, but does not include the final group of three which represents a thousand. Thus, 1 quadrillion in the United States has 15 0s written as 1,000,000,000,000,000.
British System
In the English system, the Latin prefix represents one million so that an English billion has 12 0s. Meanwhile, an English 1 quadrillion has 24 0s with the writer 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
Currently, quadrillion usage has almost completely implemented the US system, including British citizens. These changes began to occur slowly around the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. Thus, referring to Larry Page and Sergey Brin's wealth of IDR 4.1 quadrillion, it means that it can be written as 4,100,000,000,000,000.
