Competing Google, OpenAI wants create search engine based on ChatGPT?
Even though it was threatened by the presence of AI-based Bing, Google's search engine still cannot be defeated. However, Google's toughness seems to be being tested once again and this time the competition comes from OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT.

Yes, it is indicated that OpenAI is preparing their own version of a search engine based on ChatGPT. As revealed by Ashutosh Shrivastava on the X platform, the company led by Sam Altman was seen registering a new domain with the address "search.chatgpt.com". However, the leak could refer to something that might be simpler, namely the search feature for their AI chatbot ChatGPT.

However, if it is indeed going to be a search engine then it seems worth making Google quite wary.
As is known, Google appears to be starting to inject various AI features into their search engine. One of them is by presenting a Search Generative Experience (SGE) which allows users to immediately get a summary of answers to search keywords.

It cannot be denied, OpenAI's Large Language Model (LLM) is still far superior to Google's currently, especially with its latest generation GPT-4. This will open up more possibilities for OpenAI's search engine to be more sophisticated than Google.

Unfortunately, it is still unknown what the search engine concept from the company led by Sam Altman is and so far there has been no official announcement. Let's just wait for the surprise!
