How to Hide Phone Numbers and Tags from Being Tracked on GetContact
- Here's how to hide your phone number from being tracked in the GetContact application.
GetContact is an application used to search for information related to telephone numbers.
The GetContact application can check the phone number you want to search for, then the application will display the "Tag" feature which is the contact name of that phone number that other people have saved on their cellphone.
You can manage the visibility of your phone number in the GetContact app, for example by hiding it.
Phone numbers hidden in the GetContact app cannot be tracked by other people using the app.

How to Hide Phone Number in GetContact:
Access the page https://getcontact.com/en/manage, it is recommended to use a PC or computer
Type your phone number, click "Continue"
Select the operating system, namely Android or iOS to verify your number via the WhatsApp application
Scan or scan the QR Code that appears on your device screen
Send the text listed on the GetContact WhatsApp account
After successfully logging in, you will see your number locator statistics along with the "Tag" feature below it
Scroll down and look for "Visibility Settings"
At the words "Search Visibility: On" then slide the button until it changes to "Search Visibility: Off"
A notification window will appear, then click "Yes".
How to Remove Tags in GetContact:
Download and open the GetContact app on your phone
Login to the GetContact app with your phone number
Scroll down, select "My Tags" or "My Tags"
Select "Show all"
Select the name of the tag you want to delete so it doesn't appear in searches
Click and hold the tag until the trash can icon appears to delete it
Swipe left, then select a reason for deletion, for example "Inappropriate content," "This bookmark does not represent me," or "Other"
Click "Report"
A notification will appear stating that you want to delete the bookmark
If you are sure, click "Ok".
