- Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang bluntly said that humans no longer need to learn computer science. Because, in the future, computers will become more sophisticated and humans will not need to make complicated programming.
This, according to him, will democratize the technology industry. Because, he believes that everyone will become more technologically literate thanks to the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
"We will make computers smarter, so that no one needs to learn computer science to make computer programming," he said, in an interview with Jim Cramer on CNBC International, quoted Thursday (21/3/2024).
Furthermore, Huang said the goal of AI is to make computers understand human language. Currently, humans need to understand computer language to create innovation.
Therefore, in the last few decades, the profession of computer engineer has become sought after. The IT major has also become a target for high school graduates who want to enroll in college because their future is considered bright.
"Computers must be able to understand what humans want and human goals. Humans only need to give commands to computers in human language, so they can do what humans need," said Huang.
Huang said in the future humans will see factories run by a series of advanced robots. However, he does not agree that robots will replace humans.
Because, robots created by AI need to be trained by humans to become productive robots. Robots must learn from data. In the future, this data will be able to be directly studied and analyzed from daily human movements.
The role of humans is very crucial in robot training, so Huang predicts that humans will not become unemployed.
"This will actually create jobs and make companies more productive," he said.
"When companies are more productive, their income will rise. When that happens, they will recruit more employees," he said.

- CEO Nvidia Jensen Huang blak-blakan menyebut manusia tak perlu lagi belajar ilmu komputer.
