Google Can Know All Your Life Stories from Your Cellphone

- A Google project can reportedly create a person's biography. The sophisticated thing is, this is done using only the data on your cellphone.
Ellman's project aims to be 'Your Life Story Teller'. The CNBC International reports from a copy of a presentation made by the Google Photos Product Manager and his new AI modeling team Gemini.
In the presentation, it was stated that the idea was to use a large language model or LLM like the newest AI model, Gemini. So Ellman will do things like digest search results, find patterns in photos, create chatbots and answer impossible questions.
In the same report, it was stated that Ellman's search started from photos, tags and location. This became a way for the project to "write" the life stories of its users.
"When we step back and understand your life as a whole, your overall story becomes clearer," wrote the presentation, quoted on Tuesday (12/12/2023).
The LLM used can recognize several stages of life. For example. birth until the time of graduation of the user.
Regarding chatbots, the presentation stated that platforms similar to ChatGPT would contain information about the lives of their users. The chatbot can answer things like a pet dog, the names of two frequently encountered members, or the user's eating habits.
Additionally, Ellman can determine its users' interests based on user-saved screenshots. Other known information such as favorite sites or applications.
This report came to light shortly after Google launched Gemini. CNBC International notes it is unclear about Project Ellman's future plans, including whether it will include these capabilities in Google Photos or other products.

Dalam presentasi disebutkan idenya adalah menggunakan menggunakan model bahasa besar atau LLM seperti model AI terbarunya, Gemini. Jadi Ellman akan melakukan seperti mencerna hasil pencarian, menemukan pola di foto, membuat chatbot dan menjawab pertanyaan yang mustahil.

LLM yang digunakan dapat mengenali beberapa tahapan kehidupan. Misalnya. kelahiran hingga waktu kelulusan penggunanya.
Terkait chatbot, presentasi itu menyebutkan platform mirip seperti ChatGPT akan berisi informasi soal kehidupan penggunanya. Chatbot dapat menjawab seperti anjing peliharaan, nama dua anggota yang sering ditemui, atau kebiasaan makan pengguna.
Selain itu, Ellman dapat menentukan minat penggunanya berdasarkan tangkapan layar yang disimpan pengguna. Informasi lain yang diketahui seperti situs atau aplikasi favorit.
Laporan ini terungkap tak lama setelah Google meluncurkan Gemini. CNBC Internasional mencatat belum jelas soal rencana Proyek Ellman di masa depan, termasuk apakah akan memasukkan kemampuan tersebut dalam Google Photos atau produk lainnya.
