Eric Manu is a nobody in British Columbia, Canada

Eric Manu is a nobody in British Columbia, Canada.

He is just a gardener with minimal pay.

But who would have thought, in his home country, Eric Manu has a very important position.

Eric Manu was a king of the Akan tribe in Ghana, Africa.

He has lived in Canada for a long time, but in 2012, Eric Manu quit his job and returned to his country to become a tribal chief.

However, recently, Eric Manu returned to Canada to become a gardener.

To Canadian television, NBC, Eric had to work because his tribe was very poor, so he tried hard to raise funds.

The funds will be used to build the area where his tribe lives.

Eric Manu said, his people live in care and makeshift facilities.

The government of Ghana did not help at all.

"The government of Ghana doesn't focus on the countryside, they only build cities. It is very detrimental to us," said Eric as reported by TribunTravel
