HOLIDAY NEWS - “Jadi blogger itu berat. Serius.”
Tulisan ini dibuat bukan untuk meromantisasi kegiatan para blogger, seolah-olah cuma jadi blogger aja yang susah, pekerjaan lain mah gampang.
Bukan begitu.
Tapi aku memang sengaja memakai istilah gombalan khas Dilan setelah beberapa waktu belakangan sering jadi silent reader di grup blogger Facebook.
Sebenarnya ada beberapa grup yang aku ikuti, mulai dari komunitas blogger di mana para blogger dipersilakan share tulisan blognya di grup, ada juga grup yang khusus jadi sarana tanya-jawab seputar dunia blog.
Nah, dari grup tanya-jawab ini lah aku jadi punya kesimpulan sendiri kalau ternyata jadi blogger itu berat juga ya.
Soalnya, aku sering menemukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan beragam yang dikemukakan di grup, entah tentang cara meningkatkan traffic blog, tips supaya tulisan blognya bisa “nangkring” di page one Google, tips agar diterima Google AdSense, dan lain sebagainya.
Jadi walaupun ngeblog identik dengan menulis, tapi urusannya gak sesederhana itu.
Gak jarang juga aku nemu komentar para blogger yang hampir menyerah karena kegiatan ngeblog-nya belum juga membuahkan hasil sesuai target.
Alih-alih disemangatin, blogger lain justru menanggapi dengan kelakar, “Jangan semangat, tetap putus asa, dan jadi beban keluarga” haha.
Intinya aku paham banget apa yang mereka rasakan, karena jadi blogger memang gak gampang.
Well, pekerjaan lain juga gak gampang, tapi jadi blogger lebih gak gampang lagi karena lama dapet cuannya.
Itu pun kalau ngeblog bisa dibilang pekerjaan ya hihi.
Susahnya Jadi Blogger
Di antara kesulitan yang dihadapi selama jadi blogger abal-abal selama setahun belakangan, berikut faktor-faktor alasan kenapa jadi blogger itu berat.
Menulis Tidak Akan Pernah Mudah
“Nulis mah gampang, cuma ketik-ketik doang di laptop.”
Yang berkomentar seperti itu sudah dipastikan dia tidak pernah menulis sama sekali. Kalau pun menulis, mungkin copy paste tulisan orang lain. (suudzon aja nih :p)
Karena menulis tidak pernah semudah itu. Menuangkan ide-ide di kepala ke dalam tulisan itu gak gampang sama sekali.
Bahkan proses mendapatkan ide menulis itu sendiri pun juga sulit loh, huft.
Memanen ide di kepala, meraciknya dengan kalimat-kalimat, menyusunnya menjadi satu kesatuan paragraf yang runtut, hingga menyajikannya kepada pembaca dalam bentuk tulisan adalah proses panjang yang melelahkan.
Memang, jam terbang does matter, semua kembali lagi ke pengalaman masing-masing orang. Penulis berpengalaman tentu akan lebih mudah menulis daripada penulis amatira, kayak aku.
Tapi, penulis handal mana pun pasti akan ada momen di mana mereka akan kesulitan juga dalam menulis.
Solusinya, ya hanya dengan rajin berlatih menulis. Karena practise makes perfect. Semakin banyak berlatih, maka akan semakin mudah untuk menulis, dan semakin bagus juga tulisan kita.
Konsistensi yang Dirindukan
Melakukan hal yang sama dalam waktu lama itu gak mudah.
(Hemm..entah sudah berapa kali aku nyebut kalimat sakti “gak mudah” dari tadi).
Selalu ada aja penghalang yang membuat kita jadi gak konsisten. Bisa karena males, sibuk, gak mood, sakit, dan lain sebagainya.
Sama halnya dalam ngeblog. Membangun konsistensi ngeblog seperti mencari jarum di antara tumpukan jerami. (Maksudnya apa hayo?).
Gak mudah. Susah.
Maka agar konsistensi dapat terjaga, butuh komitmen dari diri sendiri agar kita bisa mencapai tujuan ngeblog yang kita inginkan.
Membangun Blog Tidak Bisa Dalam Satu Malam
Tidak seperti kisah membangun candi yang konon bisa dilakukan dalam waktu satu malam saja, sayangnya blog tidak begitu.
Membangun blog dari awal membuatnya, dikenal banyak orang, hingga dibaca banyak orang di internet itu memakan waktu yang tidak sebentar.
Bahkan, blogger senior yang sudah sukses pun mengakui bahwa butuh waktu 3 tahun agar blognya bisa ramai pengunjung.
Jadi, ya jangan harap bisa sukses ngeblog dalam waktu instan.
Kecuali, kalau kita punya banyak budget buat hire penulis konten, pakai jasa pakar SEO dan minta konten blognya dipromosiin sama agensi digital marketing, hehe.
Berebut Perhatian Mbah Google
Ini nih, core of the core, salah satu faktor penting dalam ngeblog, atau istilah kerennya sih SEO atau Search Engine Optimization alias seni untuk bisa nempati posisi teratas hasil mesin pencarian.
Seperti kalau pedekate ke doi #eh, butuh cara ini itu agar bisa merebut hati Mbah Google. Kita harus bisa mengikuti apa yang si Mbah mau, atau yang disebut algoritma.
Kalau pun udah memenuhi semua kriterianya, kita masih harus berjibaku bersaing dengan jutaan artikel lainnya yang juga memiliki misi yang sama. Hadeh.
Cuan yang Tak Kunjung Tiba
“Kalau mau kaya, jangan ngeblog.”
Sepakat. Walau memang ada banyak pilihan monetasi blog seperti sponsored post, paid review, placement post, dan Google AdSense, tapi tidak langsung kita bisa gajian dari blog.
Prosesnya panjang dan berliku.
Saat blog sudah meghasilkan pun, bisa jadi jumlahnya tidak setara dengan biaya yang sudah kita keluarkan untuk ngeblog. Sebut saja biaya beli domain, sewa hosting, kuota internet, cemilan pas nulis, dan lain sebagainya.
Berarti ngeblog gak menguntungkan sama sekali?
Ya, enggak juga. Intinya jangan jadikan faktor cuan jadi tujuan utama kita ngeblog.
Karena kalau sudah begitu, percayalah kisanak, Anda akan jadi males ngeblog, ha ha ha ha.
Terus Gimana Dong Supaya Bisa Jadi Blogger Tangguh?
Nah, dari beberapa yang aku baca dan pelajari, berikut ini beberapa tips supaya kita bisa jadi blogger yang tangguh dan gak gampang menyerah.
Tentukan Tujuan Ngeblog
Hal pertama yang perlu kamu lakukan adalah menentukan tujuan dari ngeblog itu sendiri. Apakah sekedar hobi, sarana personal branding, mendapatkan cuan, dan lain sebagainya.
Agar, saat kamu mulai malas dan kehilangan semangat dalam ngeblog, bisa ingat-ingat lagi tujuan awal ngeblog, sehingga kamu bisa kembali antusias membuat tulisan-tulisan lain yang bermanfaat.
Lupakan Angka-Angka
Kalau masih awal-awal, sebaiknya lupain dulu deh angka-angka kayak jumlah traffic, DA/PA, juga fee job.
Usahakan fokus pada membuat konten tulisan yang bagus dan terbaik. Dengan begitu, niscaya angka-angka tersebut akan mengikuti dengan sendirinya.
Konsistensi adalah Koentji
Buat komitmen pada diri sendiri untuk meluangkan waktu ngeblog di antara kesibukan lainnya.
Misal dengan membuat jadwal tersendiri, di hari dan jam berapa kamu harus fokus menulis blog, promosi, blogwalking, dan lainnya.
Dengan konsistensi, maka target dan tujuan ngeblog kamu akan lebih memungkinkan untuk tercapat.
Terus Belajar
Ngeblog juga butuh ilmu. Untuk itu, teruslah belajar agar bisa menjadi blogger yang semakin baik.
Belajar di sini bisa dalam hal apa saja yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan ngeblog. Mulai dari belajar menulis yang baik, belajar SEO, dan memperluas wawasan agar konten yang kamu tulis semakin informatif dan berbobot.
Gabung ke Komunitas Blogger
Terakhir, jangan lupa berbaur dengan sesama blogger di komunitas blogger yang ada seperti BloggerPerempuan, BloggerHub, Kumpulan Emak Blogger, dan lain sebagainya.
Jalin komunikasi dan hubungan yang baik dengan mereka. Sesekali “mampir” ke tulisan blog mereka.
Niscaya, semangat menulis blogmu akan terjaga, malah bisa tambah semangat lagi.
Dari komunitas juga kamu bisa memperluas baik wawasan seputar ngeblog maupun pertemanan.
Gak jarang, dari komunitas ini lah kamu bisa berpotensi dapat job pertamamu.
Jangan Menyerah, Jangan Putus Asa
Meskipun sepanjang tulisan ini, aku mengulang-ulang kata “gak mudah”, “susah”, bahkan judul tulisan ini saja “Jadi Blogger itu Susah”, tapi cara untuk melawan itu semua adalah dengan tidak menyerah dan putus asa.
Cintailah blogmu. Rawat ia dengan selalu memberinya asupan tulisan-tulisan terbaikmu. Jangan biarkan ia berdebu dan kesepian tanpa sentuhan artikel yang kamu publish.

– Cakkk…..asli sampai mengerutkan dahi ketika membaca artikel dari cak Irfan pemilik warung Pertamax7. Blogger asal Wonogiri sukses tersebut sepertinya tidak kuat dengan celotehan netizen. Keyboard warrior yang memang asal njeplak, tidak pernah perduli perasaan penulis….lha piye mosok masalah kuburan wae disinggung ckckck. Mungkin itulah yang membuat Cak Irfan sampai menuangkan dalam bentuk artikel khusus sebagai ungkapan kekesalan, kekecewaan, klarifikasi serta keluhan yang doi rasakan. Yup….Kejamnya komentator, beratnya jadi Blogger !!
Menjadi Blogger atau Vlogger memang harus kuat mental cak. Karena kalimat atau komentar yang begitu sengit dan seedak udele dewe menjadi makanan kita sehari-hari. Kalau nyerang produk sih bebas sebab sekarang trennya sudah menyerang pribadi….penulis atau admin. Fitnah, maki, hardik, membodohkan penulis seakan menjadi tren haters. Kalau IWB sih wisss kebal, horaaaa ngaruh karena sosok yang IWB sebut masuk kategori “haters” ini toh tetap membuat warung ramai. Yahh…lumayanlah nambahin hits wkwkwkwk. Justru IWB malah suka ledekin….biar para haters ndase makin cekot-cekot. Emang enak jadi haters cak, oraaa kangbro. Tersiksa lho rumangsamu apalagi melihat kita makin berkibar….makin mrongossss untune hahahaha….
Tapi tidak semua Blogger bisa mengelola hati dan perasaan. Jika komen pedes di Iwanbanaran IWB biarkan nggak dihapus, ada juga Blogger yang strick….kritik atau menyerang pribadi langsung diberangus tanpa ampun. Block IP dll. Sah-sah saja cak…namanya juga aturan main warung kuwi macem-macem. Namun suka atau tidak jika levelnya wis kebangetan, pasti akan mengusik ketenangan penulis. Seperti yang dialami cak Irpan. IWB cukup terkejut karena lek Irfan pertamax7 sampai harus membuat artikel dan dari sana bisa ditangkap ada rasa kesal, kecewa dan juga prihatin. Doi juga seperti ingin memberikan klarifikasi atas tuduhan yang menurutnya tidak benar….
Ada dua komen yang begitu pedas dilontarkan haters. Yang pertama adalah…” Ini blog click bait mulu biar pada masuk Blog, segitunya cari duit adsense? Parah…” seru akun Oqi. Kemudian ditimpali komentator lain dengan kata-kata yang lebih parah...” moga saja besok kalau adminnya mati kuburan sempit…” seru Randy. Waaaalaahhhh…. serem banget Memang komennya. Kok nyinggung kuburan segala….serem euy. Sebuah komen yang justru akan menjadi doa buat diri sendiri. Karena bagaimanapun setiap comment tersebut tidak berdasarkan data yang justru akan menggiring pada fitnah. Mungkin itulah yang membuat cak Irfan kecewa….
Dan memang cak, dunia Blogger sangat berbeda dengan YouTube. Menjadi Blogger tidaklah semudah menjadi youtuber karena costnya besar, itu yang IWB rasakan. Kenapa ? Karena menjadi youtuber Sampeyan sudah tidak perlu memikirkan wadah atau media apapun sebab semuanya sudah dikontrol dan sediakan oleh YouTube. Gratis tisssss…..alias tanpa dipungut biaya sepeserpun. Sementara untuk menjadi Blogger sampeyan harus memikirkan server, domain serta segala bentuk teknis yang berhubungan dengan koneksi. Tujuannya apa?
Agar sampeyan tetap nyaman dan bisa mengakses blog dengan lancar. Semuanya berbayar dan tidak gratis. Kita juga harus memilih webmaster yang jago. Maintenance server secara rutin, memproteksi dengan security terupdate dll. Celakanya seluruh pengeluaran tidak selaras dengan adsense yang kita dapatkan. Sangat kecil, pendapatan dari Google AdSense Blog hanya bisa untuk membayar server aja wis untung cak. Contoh IWB. Untuk membuat warung tetap powerfull dan tidak ngelag pada saat sampeyan semua akses dibutuhkan minimal spesifikasi yang bisa menampung hingga 200.000 views perhari. Itu minimal….
Biaya normal yang harus kita keluarkan hanya untuk seluruh kenyamanan dan menampung visitor dengan angka tersebut mencapai Kisaran 5 jutaan rupiah/bulan. Itu belum termasuk Tenaga, pikiran serta effort yang memang luar biasa menguras energy…. apalagi jika target kita adalah 3 sampai 4 partikel per hari. Jiaaan abot cak. Karena tiap partikel Minimal kita membutuhkan waktu 1 hingga 2 jam…. itu belum termasuk editing foto jika kita memiliki Mega galeri. Tidak heran sekarang sudah banyak Blogger yang rontok. Mungkin jika sampeyan perhatikan hanya segelintir Blogger konsisten yang tersisa. Kenapa?
Karena cost atau biaya perbulan yang cukup besar tanpa diimbangi pendapatan yang memadai. Artinya untuk membayar server saja tidak cukup. Yup…. itulah faktanya cak. Oleh karena itu support dari teman-teman menjadi suntikan berharga untuk tetap menjaga passion pada posisi on top. Disaat haters netizen yang begitu kencang dari hari ke hari tanpa perduli beratnya menjadi Blogger, support para pembaca lain menjadi pemompa semangat tambahan. So…Saran IWB buat lek Irfan, Tidak usah didengarkan setiap celotehan haters yang memang sudah menjadi resiko kita sebagai blogger. Walaupun sulit karena para haters tersebut memang kadang “nggath**i”. IWB takut kondisi ini akan membuat keberadaan blogger otomotif semakin langka. Blogger yang konsisten memberikan update buat sampean semuanya. Karena sekarang pun jika IWB perhatikan sekali lagi, banyak blogger yang mulai rontok tidak update lagi….
Dari menulis setiap hari kini hanya seminggu dua kali atau bahkan tidak sama sekali. Sebagai blogger tuwo yang sudah Malang melintang di dunia Blogsphere hampir 12 tahun lamanya…IWB ingin memberikan semangat buat teman-teman Blogger lain untuk terus berkarya walaupun berat. Jangan patah semangat hanya karena haters atau Tudingan bahwa blogger suka click bait untuk mencari adsense. Adsense yang notabene hanya cukup untuk membayar server aja diributin. Termasuk lek Irfan, Jangan masukkan ke hati setiap komentar yang kurang pantas diutarakan di publik. Karena setiap apapun yang kita lakukan di depan haters pasti tidak akan pernah benar. IWB kieee lho contone, haterssnya buanyaakkkk tapi tetap lemu ginuk-ginuk, jadi santuy ngono lho hehehe….
Komentar buruk mending diamkan saja dan jika sudah kebangetan lebih baik di block? akunnya…..selesai wis. IWB tahu tidak mudah apalagi Setiap kali kita melakukan tindakan ataupun klarifikasi…..haters pasti akan menyebut kita “baper”. Wissss biasa kuwi…lagu lama. Dan buat para keyboard warrior…camkan, setiap jengkal komentar sampean pasti akan berbalik pada diri sendiri. Itu sudah hukum alam. Mungkin ketika IWB utarakan ini sampeyan akan tersenyum ngeledek….monggo mawon. Namun percayalah, setiap kebaikan yang kita lakukan akan berbuah manis dan sebaliknya…. setiap keburukan dan caci maki yang sampeyan lontarkan suatu saat nanti pasti akan berbalik pada diri sendiri. HOLIDAY NEWS – “Being a blogger is tough. Are you serious."
This article is not made to romanticize the activities of bloggers, as if just being a blogger is difficult, other jobs are easy.
It is not like that.
But I deliberately used the term Dilan's typical rag after some time lately I've often been a silent reader in the Facebook blogger group.
Actually there are a number of groups that I follow, starting from the blogger community where bloggers are welcome to share their blog posts in the group, there is also a group specifically used as a means of asking questions about the world of blogging.
So, it was from this question-and-answer group that I came to my own conclusion that being a blogger is hard too.
The thing is, I often find various questions raised in the group, whether it's about how to increase blog traffic, tips so that the blog posts can "perch" on page one of Google, tips to be accepted by Google AdSense, and so on.
So even though blogging is synonymous with writing, it's not that simple.
Not infrequently I also find comments from bloggers who almost give up because their blogging activities have not yet yielded results according to the target.
Instead of being encouraged, other bloggers responded with a joke, “Don't get excited, stay hopeless, and become a burden on the family” haha.
The point is I really understand how they feel, because being a blogger is not easy.
Well, other jobs are also not easy, but being a blogger is even more difficult because it takes a long time to get the money.
Even if you blog, you can say it's a job, hihi.
It's hard to be a blogger
Among the difficulties faced while being a fake blogger over the past year, here are the reasons why being a blogger is hard.
Writing Will Never Be Easy
"Writing is easy, just typing on the laptop."
Those who comment like that have confirmed he never wrote at all. Even if you write, maybe copy paste other people's writing. (just suudzon :p)

Doing the same thing for a long time is not easy.
(Hemm.. I don't know how many times I've said the magic sentence "it's not easy" before).
There are always obstacles that make us inconsistent. It could be because you're lazy, busy, not in the mood, sick, and so on.
It's the same with blogging. Building consistent blogging is like looking for a needle in a haystack. (What do you mean, come on?).
It's not easy. Difficult.
So that consistency can be maintained, it takes commitment from ourselves so that we can achieve the blogging goals we want.
Building a blog can't be done in one night

Being a blogger or vlogger does have to be mentally strong. Because sentences or comments that are so fierce and as bad as udele dewe become our daily food. If you attack the product, it's free because now the trend is to attack the person….the author or the admin. Slander, abuse, rebuke, fool writers as if they are trending haters. If IWB is invulnerable, that's bad luck because the person IWB calls is in the "haters" category still makes the shop crowded. Well... it's okay to add hits wkwkwkwk. In fact, IWB likes to make fun of it….so that the haters can get even more nervous. It's really good to be haters, bro, bro. You are tortured, you know, especially when you see us fluttering more and more….getting excited for good luck hahahaha….
But not all Bloggers can manage their hearts and feelings. If the scathing comments on Iwanbanaran IWB are left undeleted, there are also bloggers who are stricken….criticism or personal attacks are immediately muzzled without mercy. Waaaaaahhhh…. really scary indeed the comments. How come you mention all the graves…. it's scary. A comment that will actually be a prayer for yourself. Because after all, each of these comments is not based on data which will actually lead to slander. Maybe that's what makes Uncle Irfan disappointed….
And indeed dude, the world of Blogger is very different from YouTube. Becoming a blogger is not as easy as being a YouTuber because the costs are high, that's what IWB feels. Why ? Because you are a YouTuber, you don't need to think about any forums or media because everything is controlled and provided by YouTube. Free tisssss…..a.k.a. without a penny being charged. Meanwhile, to become a Blogger, you have to think about servers, domains and all technical forms related to connection. What's the goal?
So that you stay comfortable and can access the blog smoothly. Everything is paid and not free. We also have to choose a good webmaster. Regular server maintenance, protection with updated security etc. Unfortunately all expenses are not in line with the adsense that we get. Very small, the income from the Google AdSense blog can only pay for the server. IWB example.
