Ummat Party Shura Council chairman Amien Rais discussed the impact of Indonesia's cancellation of hosting the U-20 World Cup. Amien Rais linked this to the electability impact of Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo in 2024.
"After the revocation from FIFA, Indonesia as the host of the U-20 World Cup was revoked, maybe there were more severe sanctions, then suddenly, Mr. Ganjar suddenly slipped. We don't know that Pak Ganjar's electability has suddenly been impacted tremendously," Amies Rais said after the Central Java Ummat Party Working Meeting at the INC Hotel, Semarang, as reported by detikJateng, Sunday (2/4/2023).
Amien Rais followed the development of Ganjar's electability. He is waiting for the steps that Ganjar will take to boost his electability again after the failure of the U-20 World Cup.
