Quick Ways to get around AdSense ad restrictions (No Long Waits)

Quick Ways to get around AdSense ad restrictions (No Long Waits) How to overcome adsense ad restrictions - Lately there has been a lot of discussion about restricted adsense ads or limitations on ad serving by Google itself. This of course makes the adsense publishers nervous, because they are afraid that the ads will not appear on their site pages which will ultimately have an impact on decreasing income.

Apart from having an impact on decreasing income, the restriction on advertising also makes the site be re-valued by Google, is it still appropriate to display Adsense ads or not? For those of you who are experiencing problems with adsense ad restrictions, you don't need to worry because in this article we will discuss how to overcome adsense ad restrictions. Let's see the review!

Adsense ad restrictions occur because of unusual/normal activity on our website. Blank ads, fewer ads, and no ads appear.

The way to get rid of ad restrictions is not fast, easy and simple, because there can be many reasons. Plus, because the cause is not only because of us, but there could be other people who really intend to interfere with our website without us knowing it.
Google protects advertisers from invalid activity, activities that deceive advertisers, and traffic quality. As adsense advertisers, we also have to take care of this. Even if we don't do anything weird, ad throttling can happen. So we have to understand why ad restrictions occur and how to open or release these ad restrictions.

Causes of AdSense ad restrictions

Maybe we are happy when we see soaring traffic, more advertising revenue, high CTR. But on the other hand, it can be dangerous. Incorrect website optimization, unhealthy competitors, can lead to ad blocking.
This Adsense ad limitation is a kind of warning or warning, something that must be monitored and investigated. And if it keeps happening and repeating itself, the chance to get banned is huge. Ad restrictions can last days, weeks, even months.
If we look at Google Adsense monthly income reports, there are usually adjustments or deductions for invalid traffic or clicks, which might mean that they are still in the fair/tolerance stage. But if the frequency is too frequent and a lot, we will get emails and notifications from Google Adsense, the contents of which will explain why there are ad restrictions, but not specific. And Google Adsense will also never provide data or information which is the exact cause.
There are 3 main causes for ad restrictions:

Traffic

The most common cause for ad throttling is the invalid traffic issue. Good and healthy website traffic is visitors who come to see the contents of the website, read the content, or are looking for answers. Invalid traffic usually comes from visitors who may be manipulated to enter our website. Visitors like this do not add value to the website. Advertisers, of course, don't want their ads to appear to people who don't match the ad's target audience.

Click

Most ads from Google Adsense pay based on clicks on the ad, although sometimes some are paid for impressions. CTR (Click Through Rate) denotes the percentage of the number of ads clicked per 1000 impressions (impressions). The higher the CTR, the more ads are clicked.

The average CTR for Adsense ads is at 2%, if the number is above that it can mean good or maybe not good. CTR above 5% is not normal, especially if the CTR is above 10% it will usually be immediately red-flagged, and the account may be put under surveillance. We must be able to understand why our ads are clicked too often.

Content

When we register adsense, our content will be checked and verified by Google. But that doesn't mean that after being accepted we can enter content at will. Even though it may be unintentional, inappropriate and illegal content will limit the display of Adsense ads.

How to overcome Adsense ad restrictions

Adsense ad serving limitations can be due to several reasons that have accumulated. Maybe we've seen bloggers who clean traffic but still continue to get restrictions, because it could be that the problem isn't just that. The steps and methods below try to see as a whole, not all of which need to be repaired, but it never hurts to check all the components.

1 Don't be silenced

After receiving the adsense ad restriction notification, don't be silent. Unless we are no longer interested in monetizing and placing ads from Google. Ad restrictions suggest something is wrong with our website, and if it sits there and doesn't do anything, it means the problem hasn't gone away.

There are those who are successful by just being silent, most likely because of traffic problems, after being silenced, invalid traffic doesn't come again, and restrictions are reopened. But what if the problem isn't the traffic, or what if the same traffic comes back?
Ad restrictions also mean that Google Adsense is penalizing, monitoring, monitoring or investigating our website, and we should also do the same.

2. Turn off ads

Even though we don't know the problem yet, it would be nice if we turn off the ads first. Revoke, clean, turn off, or delete all ad scripts or plugins on our website, and clear cache to make sure everything is gone.
Because, during the restriction period, invalid traffic and clicks can still occur. And if that keeps happening, it's not impossible for our Adsense account or website to be banned from Adsense. Don't worry too much about losing revenue, fixing ad throttling will save more ad revenue in the future.

3. Traffic and visitor analysis

One of the most important things to overcome advertising restrictions is to analyze traffic and visitor sources, from where they enter our website. This is how important it is for us to put tags, analytical scripts, tracking codes on our website.

There are many analytic tools and scripts that we can use, such as KissMetric, Facebook Pixel, Bing, Microsoft Clarity, Histats, but Google Analytics is still the best. If you don't have an analytics tool yet, we recommend that you install it now, not only for ad restrictions, but for many other benefits.
Go to analytics.google.com, select the problematic website (if you have multiple websites in one Google Analytics account).
To view website traffic sources, go to the Acquisition >> All Traffic >> Channels menu. Examples like this:

organic search

Traffic or visitors who come through search engines (SERP). This is normal and safe traffic, visitors who do come because they are looking for something on our website. In percentage terms, this organic traffic should be the highest.
direct
Visitors who enter directly, or type our website address in their browser. Direct visitors are also good and safe, usually visitors who already know our website and want to see old news, new news, new articles, updates and more.
social
Visitors and incoming traffic from social media, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others. While there's nothing wrong with traffic from social media, if it's a high percentage, or higher than organic traffic, then it may be the reason for ad throttling.
Traffic from social media can be of low quality, because they come to websites because they are attracted to images, click bait, provocative titles, and on social media we can manipulate like this. Sharing too much, or inviting people to click on our website links, can generate unhealthy visitors and traffic.

And after they enter the website, they can immediately leave, or the content and advertisements displayed are inappropriate. If traffic like this is too high, it means that advertisers don't get the right target audience.
Click the link for the traffic source again if you want to see a more detailed explanation.

referrals

Referral traffic is traffic that comes in after clicking on a link or backlink. Traffic sources (referrals) are also important to check. Traffic from bots, jingling (auto visitors), paid traffic, is usually recorded here. This bot traffic is junk traffic, not human, and advertisers do not get any promotional benefit from this fake traffic. Usually this is the main culprit for unauthorized traffic leading to ad throttling.
Click the referrals link to see all the links that bring traffic to our website. Jingling traffic usually enters via xxxxx.blogspot.com or xxxxx.blogspot.co.id, or if there are other strange sites that we have never interacted with, we need to watch out for them.
Signs of invalid or unnatural traffic is a sudden jump in the number of very high visitors to our website.

4. Improve traffic quality

Don't share or reduce website shares and share links too much/frequently on social media.

Share as needed and on groups or target people according to topics or interests.

Do not post links unnaturally on spam and unclear websites.

Don't pay, buy traffic, use bots and the like, this will never have a positive effect on the website.

Advertising and promoting your own website to bring traffic is legal. Use a qualified and competent advertiser.

5. Traffic filters

Another way to deal with unauthorized traffic is to filter or limit anyone who can enter our website. Google Adsense can't block IP or region from displaying ads, but we have to do it ourselves. Even without being hit by advertising restrictions, we should know or understand when to filter traffic, to keep the website safe and of good quality.
There are many ways for this, some of them are:

Free CDNs like Cloudflare can ward off bots and DDoS

If you want to tamper with the hosting, or you can also ask web hosting support, look for visitor logs, and block suspicious IPs, either at the server level (htaccess, nginx conf) or at the web level.

Use security tools and plugins, such as Wordfence, Sucuri, Ithemes Security, Defender, and others. Even the free version of the plugin can often handle this abnormal traffic.

Can add security by using captcha, akismet, and the like.

6. Do not click on the ads yourself

Never click on advertisements on our website yourself, including inviting friends or relatives to click on advertisements. Google can detect intentional clicks, via IP, click patterns, behavior on the website, these modes will be read and considered as violations of adsense.
Including inviting visitors to click on ads, whether through writing, or ways that direct ad clicks.
Some software or plugins also have click protection, click limit, or click fraud protection features. This tool can help with unnatural clicks, repeated clicks, and will turn off ads to prevent excessive clicks. This software can also help reduce clicks from invalid traffic.
Examples include the Advanced Ads plugin, which can detect click bombs and click fraud, and block based on IP or region.

7. Improve the position of AdSense ads

When we post ads/adsense manually, whether it's intentional or not, it can make ads appear in positions where they shouldn't. For example, ads that block content, ads that appear in pop-ups, sticky/anchor ads without a close button, transparent ads, ads that move, ads that are attached or overlapping, and others.

Ads may only be placed, in positions that will only be clicked if a visitor wants to click on them. Not because of a wrong click, accidentally, or forced. The position of these misleading ads will usually make the CTR abnormal and very high.
For adsense auto-ads ads, there shouldn't be a problem, because Google definitely positions them in a safe place. Use the reports on the Adsense dashboard to see ad performance.

Enter the Google AdSense dashboard, look at the reports menu >> ad unit. Here a report will appear for each ad unit that was created manually in Adsense, see the click and CTR reports. If the CTR is above 3%, check where and how this ad unit is installed, check its position on PC and mobile. Most likely the position of these very high CTR ads is unnatural. To get more precise results, we recommend that each position or advertisement posted manually has its own ad code/ad unit.

8 Repair or change the website template/theme

Even though it's rare, there are several website templates, wordpress themes, plugins, or there is a conflict between them which makes the ad position odd. Keep updating templates, themes, Wordpress plugins. If it can't be fixed, inform the developer, temporarily remove the ad in that position, or place it in another position.

9. Improve content

On a website, we need to create content that is useful and attracts the interest of visitors. There are many ways, sometimes creating content that is controversial or illegal and violates the privacy policy of Google Adsense can attract more visitors. We as website owners or writers must understand the limitations on adult content, hoaxes, illegal, and the like.
Advertisers do not want their ads to appear on content that is considered not good. Including plagiarism, copyright infringement, AGC, and so on. If we have this content, it should be removed. There are no very detailed explanations and descriptions, and Google will not explain which content is bad specifically.

For example, game websites have organic traffic, good ad positions, but several times get restrictions on Google adsense ad serving. It could be because of copyright games, inappropriate words, vulgar images or so on. We have to take our own initiative to fix content that violates or is in a gray zone.

10. Don't post ads right away

If we have done things to improve the website, it's best not to reinstall the ad right away. Wait until there is a notification from Google for the account/website that is under surveillance has passed the verification stage or a notification to return to normal.

Failure to fix this ad restriction will result in ban. Adsense accounts and websites listed on them will be banned, and this ban will last forever. We will never again be able to place ads through the account and on the website.

Never be tempted by fast ways, automatic ways, shortcuts to make more money from adsense ads. Maybe it will produce for a while, but sooner or later it will be detected.
We also have to monitor the traffic coming to our website, make sure quality traffic is coming in, so that the ads will be more targeted and generate more income.
