Mark Ruffalo Feels Weird To Replace Edward Norton As Hulk

When asked if he spoke to Norton about the change and how it went, Ruffalo used the word "Weird" and explained that the two only spoke briefly although they didn't want to talk about it.

No, I mean, I didn't talk to him, but I did reach out to him, like we do now when we don't feel like talking. And I was like, 'Hey, man,' and he was like, 'No, that's okay. I mean, it's weird.

It was even weird that Robert Downey Jr., at Comic-Con [in 2010], when introducing me, said, "And now reprising the role of Hulk, is Mark Ruffalo." And they're like, 'Yeah– Huh?'"
