Bjorka Appears Again, Leaks 19 Million BPJS Employment Data
- It has not been heard for a long time, the figure of a hacker or hacker by the name of Bjorka has again leaked data belonging to Indonesian agencies.
This time, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is suspected of being a victim of hacking by an unknown hacker.
This was revealed from Bjorka's latest upload on the Breached Forum website on Sunday (12/3/2023) at 09.37.
Titled "BPJS KETENAGAKERJAAN INDONESIA 19 MILLION", Bjorka sold this data for 10,000 US dollars in Bitcoin.

Bjorka claims in his upload that this 5GB or 1GB compressed data comes from a hack in March 2023.
The data consists of name, e-mail address, national identification number (NIK), telephone number, address, date of birth, gender, occupation, place of work, and others.
This hacker also attached 100,000 samples of the claimed 19 million hacked data.
So, what is BPJS Ketenagakerjaan's response to this alleged data leak?

With regard to data hacking information, the Deputy for Communications at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Oni Marbun said that his party is currently conducting detailed coordination and investigations involving several parties.
"Based on the sample data distributed, we are verifying the validity of the data claimed as BPJS Employment participant data," he said, when contacted by Kompas.com, Tuesday (14/3/2023).
Oni continued, BPJS Employment will also take preventive steps to strengthen the information technology security system against potential data disturbances.
This includes increased protection and system resilience.
He emphasized that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan would also follow up on this news seriously, as a form of responsibility for managing participant data.
"We will regularly report updates on developments regarding this incident to the public," he said.
The figure of Bjorka
As previously reported, Bjorka often shares a number of personal data of public officials, starting from full names, NIK, family card numbers, cellphone numbers, and home addresses.
Some of the victims of Bjorka's doxing action include the Minister of Communication and Information, the Chairperson of the Indonesian Parliament, the Director General of Informatics Applications of the Ministry of Communication and Information, and the Minister of BUMN.
In order to track Bjorka's figure, the government also formed a special team consisting of the BSSN, the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the Ministry of Communication and Information, and the National Police.
Finally, a young man from Madiun Regency, East Java, with the initials MAH, was arrested for being involved in the Bjorka plot.
As reported by Kompas.com (17/9/2022), MAH allegedly played a role in creating a Telegram channel with the name "Bjorkanism" and also uploaded three of Bjorka's writings in the period 8-10 September 2022.
Not only that, the 21-year-old youth also has a motive to help Bjorka become famous and earn money.
However, the whereabouts and who is the person behind Bjorka's name is still unknown until now.
