Film Kingdom Of the Apes Finish Syuting

War of the Planet of the Apes concludes Caesar's story, but this doesn't mean that the Planet of the Apes franchise has to do. Years after the events of the 2017 film, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes takes us through a new world where hominids have developed distinct clans, while humanity has retreated into a wild state.

The film, which will be released on May 24, 2024, recently finished filming, director Wes Ball confirmed on Twitter. The video confirming the news sees a group of CGI monkeys waving before Ball closes the clapperboard confirming that filming has concluded.

With so much CGI going into the Planet of the Apes movies, it's no surprise that it will still take over a year to see release even though it's already done shooting. However, this is positive news for those who can't wait to return to the post-apocalyptic world.
