Erick Thohir Officially Registered to Become a Candidate for the General Chair of PSSI
The Minister of BUMN, Erick Thohir, has arrived at the PSSI Office, GBK Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday (15/1/2023).
In monitoring Kompas.com, Erick Thohir came in a black car at around 10.40 WIB.
The former owner of Inter Milan arrived wearing red clothes, typical of the Indonesian national team.
Erick Thohir's arrival at the GBK Arena to register himself as a candidate for general chairman of PSSI.
Erick Thohir also issued a statement after officially running for office.
He said that he wanted to carry out his duties to advance Indonesian football.
"His job is to ensure that our dreams together come true," said Erick Thohir to Kompas.com and a number of other media crews on Sunday (15/1/2023).
After arriving at the PSSI office, Erick Thohir immediately went up to the 6th Floor using the elevator to submit the files for the candidate for the general chairman of PSSI.
From Kompas.com's monitoring, a number of Liga Indonesia club officials were also present to provide support.
They are Kaesang Pangarep (Persis Solo), Raffi Ahmad (RANS Nusantara), Teddy Tjahjono (Persib Bandung), to Atta Halilintar (Bekasi City FC).
