Theft of women's panties is rampant in Cianjur, residents are restless
Residents in Cianjur Regency, West Java, were shocked by the loss of women's panties that were being dried in the yard of their house.
Losing women's underwear not only once, but many times. The most recent incident occurred last week.
According to information obtained from residents, this case began when residents of Pangarengan Village, Kertajaya Village, Ciranjang, found a number of underwear that was thrown everywhere.
"This past week residents found women's panties thrown away near clotheslines, yards, even up to the roof of the house," said local RT head Agus Kurnia to kompas.com via cell phone, Monday (28/9/2020).
After observing, several residents admitted that the discarded panties belonged to those who had lost them when they were dried in the sun a few days ago.
"It's already dirty. Those who have them are immediately thrown away," he said.
Agus admitted, at first he thought the incident was just a kid's fad. However, the loss of the women's underwear that was being dried was suspected to be a deliberate act.
"Someone deliberately took it from the clothesline. However, who it is we are still investigating. We don't know who it is," he said.
It was stated that although the victim did not suffer major material losses, the incident was quite disturbing, especially for mothers and young women.
"Because what is missing is a woman's panties. Regardless of age," said Agus.
